Had Sunday lunch here. Restaurant full by 12h30. Good choice of galettes and crêpes, short grill menu. We had items from both categories. The galettes and crêpes were delicious, as was a steak. Service was efficient.

My wife and I stay at the Domaine Du Logis site a few minutes drive away from Combourg, La Cour du Temple is one of our favourite restaurants, the food is always lovely, The service is friendly and heartfelt and you feel genuinely cared for, if you are in Combourg make sure you pop in, be it for a full... Unimpressed with choice but what's served is OK and fresh. Need to book evening as only one sitting. Expensive for what you get and not traditional French bistro. Trouble is combourg lacks decent choices for experiencing great French food. Unsure why this is number one probably more of a statement on lack of choice at a reasonable price.

Galettes were no better than average in spite of the organic claim. Service was very slow and not particularly friendly.

The streets around this building will make you feel that you are back in medieval days. Go on a Sunday morning when no one is around and you can take all the pictures you want without tourists entering the frame and you will truly feel as if you have taken a time machine! I was positively enamored with the area.... More

We visited this restaurant during what was probably Combourg's busiest day of the year - a music festival throughout the whole of the town with thousands of people on the streets. In the circumstances I expected the service to be a little haphazard as the restaurant was so busy - Wrong! The staff of this family run business were attentive... More

An ancient building, beautifully restored, next to the picturesque Combourg castle. The vegetarian galette featured on the menu was simple but sound fare. The Bretonne is a daring fusion of andouillette and scallops, topped with cider jelly. The crêpes were fine and pleasantly frilly, and the coffee definitely up to the standards of that fine eatery. Yes, and the service... More

This was several steps above the other (perfectly good) crêperies we visited in Brittany—beautifully presented galettes with marvelous combinations of ingredients. You can get "the usual" galettes here as well. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed but artful—just like the food. A real find.
