Friendly team, great service. Butty Bach was well-kept, smooth and creamy. Seemed like a friendly crowd in there of a Sunday lunchtime. Will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at The Castle Inn for 2 nights and it was such a relaxing experience, just what we needed. The room was very nice and looked out on to the town square….Usk is very pretty. There was a mini fridge in the room with...bottles of fruit juice, water and milk, yogurts, pains aux chocolates, brownies and fruit as well as the usual coffee, tea and biscuits. In the snug downstairs there was a basket full of woollen blankets to snuggle up in if you got chilly, which was a nice touch. We planned to have Sunday lunch there but a train cancellation meant that we had to leave to catch an earlier train - next time we will hopefully get to try the food because the menu looked lovely. The staff could not have been any more helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.More

We stopped here for a couple of drinks before having dinner in a village nearby. Lovely, quaint building and friendly service. The food other people were being served looked good.

We sat in the garden at the rear of the pub. The food was fast, very tasty and good value. They were happy for us to take our dog and staff were very friendly and helpfully

After enjoying a peaceful walk by the Usk River we had the pleasure of eating a delicious Sunday two course lunch at The Castle Inn. The food was as always top quality with really good portions. The staff are always there to please and our...dogs truly love the treats that are sat waiting for them as they enter the premises 🤣 There was only one disappointment… no sunflowers in the garden 🌻🥴More

Popped into this pub for one drink but stayed for a few more. The service was good & the beer garden a awesome sun trap. With some fabulous live music.
