A great location with beautiful views. A very rustic place with a family run atmosphere, we visited early season, lunchtime, so the menu was a little limited. The food was nice but simple and like many other aeolian island restaurants a tad too pricey. Never the less worth a visit if you're around Pollaro

The absolute care and attention in the seafood pasta, bread, local wine, and service at this local restaurant was terrific. We came upon this accidentally, driving from the local beach, but could have stayed a lifetime. The views were spectacular, and the local grilled fish I had was divine. The friendliness of the explanations of the menu were among the... More

Really wonderful restaurant but be prepared for its rustic style and limited menu - not unusual for the aeolian! The owner brought us a bottle of sparkling wine to congratulate our honeymoon and gave us the best table - we had a fun evening and enjoyed the fish and vegetables - all fresh and well cooked. A simple and enjoyable... More

Lovely views and typical Italian pasta well cooked. They only open for lunch. Everything is freshly cooked and the owner is very friendly, without being too familiar

The best selection of Aeolian ingredients served on a traditional terrace with a breathetaking view and a romantic sunset. Excellent malvasia

This is one the best restauants we ate on Salina island and very good value for money. We went back twice as the food was really amazing. The receipes are traditional and therefore simple which is excatly what we wanted to have. They use their local capperi and vegetables which adds a very unique taste to their rich menu of... More

It's well worth the trip! Certainly our favorite meal on the island, and the sunset and location added to the experience.

A bit of a hairy drive if you're coming like us from Lingua but well worth it! True Sicilian homecooking, family run, friendly and the best value for money on the island - infact it's always fully booked so make sure you book in advance!

Caper At The Farm is located on the island of Salina Pollara. We produce and sell the famous capers of Salina, the most good in the world for taste, aroma, fragrance, and compactness. The Caper of Salina is part of Slow Food. The company managed a family also has a good restaurant where you can taste local dishes with products grown on the farm. Kitchen with lots of vegetarian dishes such as eggplant or zucchini parmigiana, the caponata, the sweet and sour endive, zucchini pancakes, and ... For the former, the house specialty is linguine with pesto capers where delicate flavor suggests adding a tablespoon of fresh chilli oil. Another specialty of the restaurant is the rabbit in sweet and sour.
