Cozy restaurant with a nice quality of food. The atmosphere is very nice too and the menu has a great selection of local foods. The food was rich and had a beautiful presentation. We had salmon, halibut, and traditional meatballs. The raw reindeer was tempting but we opted for something else to be on the safe side. Wondrous dining experience... More

Loved this place. Beautiful historic building, good service and fantastic food. Booking essential. Pricey but not dramatically so compared to a decent restaurant in a major city. Wine ridiculously expensive though....

We enjoyed a stylish dinner a deux, and can particularly recommend the reindeer - gamey and tender - Swedish venison! The service was both excellent and friendly, and we loved the traditional building with its cool decor. The wine was pricey, but hey, this is Sweden. We would certainly recommend eating here, and hope to return on our next visit.

The service was avarage. Starters and dessert was very good. Main course a bit disappointing. As we were 20 persons we got a room downstairs. If they can keep the level through the meal and keep the service at a high level, Villa Tottebo could be the place...

Location is good and interior very cozy. Food was very decent and tasty, but not exceptional compared to the price we paid.

A very nice little restaurant with a good selection of svensk cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The cake and coffee is very nice.

A very friendly welcome in this restaurant. Good menu choices, extensive wine list, reasonably priced.

Description
In Åre you'll find this old hunting lodge reminiscent of the end of the nineteenth century, but which is now home to the Villa Totebo restaurant. The open fire in the dining room spreads warmth and the bar lights up in the winter gloom. The menu contains the best of modern European cooking, with inspiration from other parts of the world as well. The kitchen uses by choice ingredients from Jämtland and other regions in northern Sweden. There are also set menus and a party menu.
