Right on the beach front a snack bar place with an extensive menu mainly with 'fast food' : burgers, poisson cru, sandwiches(huge!!), sodas, beer. Everything is well and freshly prepared. Nice thing is that you can walk off the white sand of Matira Beach straight into the restaurant and after return to the beach! Lunchtime is busy, but service is... More

We walked to Snack Matira from the IC Le Moana for lunch one day. It is about a 12 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant is small and is located right on Matira Beach. The tables in the restaurant are actually picnic tables. We ordered two fish sandwiches which were very tasty, two orders of French fries, a Coke... More

The Snack Matira is located at one of the top 10 beaches in the world, according to our guide. It faces the beach and serves a simple menu of American food (Hamburgers), French Food (Croque Madame) and native Tahitian fish. Food was OK, view was great, and prices a bit better than hotels. Also it was open on Sunday which... More

Great place to get a quick bite on matira beach! The views are to die for. They were out of my favorite- possoin cru so my husband and I both had tuna burgers and fries. They didn't seem like anything special that we couldn't get back in the states but they were seriously delicious with a nice cold hinano and... More

First restaurant we visited after the long flight from lax. Good food and amazing view. Cheaper than the other restaurants by bora standards.

Great location right on the beach. Not a big menu. We had a couple burgers and they were overpriced. Convenient location if your out and about and want to watch the sunset, or just at the beach for the day.

I do not recommend going to this restaurant to anyone. We had rented bikes nearby and on our way back to drop them off, we decided to grab a bite. We would have liked to try bora bora burger but it was either closed or still being built. We settled for this place. My husband and I both ordered cheeseburger... More

This little cafe has excellent views of the sea and a great little menu at prices that are far cheaper then the hotels. Croque Monsiuer for 500 and cokes for 300. You can find this place right next to the Intercontinental hotel Moana on the mainland.

I was hoping that this would be just a little beachside dive with decent food, and that pretty much held true... except that we paid like $40 for 2 people. A sad little burger with a fried egg on top, a sad little overcooked tuna steak, and some fries for $40 USD. No drinks. Slow, confused service. Avoid...
