Usually all over the island, people is very friendly and this restaurant is no exception. Food was nice, well served, dishes were big, nice cooked and presented. We wanted to eat Mahi-Mahi (typical fish here) but they had ran out of it, and instead they offered us another fish named Wahoo, which resulted in a nice surprise. Two main dishes... More

We came here because it was one of the only restaurants open on Sunday. I ordered the poisson cru and was informed that they were out of all fish except the mahi mahi with vanilla sauce. So I ordered the mahi mahi and my husband ordered the fish burger. In my husband's words, "at least my fish burger had tomato... More

This restaurant isn't anything special. I think it's part of the local hotel. It does have beach front seating though, and reasonable prices. We both had burgers and they we're done very rare even though they asked if we wanted medium or well done. I think fp's medium is bloody and we'll done means not bloody. This happened at several... Tamaa Maitai offers a mid-priced alternative to the InterContinental Bora Bora. It is located ten minutes walk north of the hotel and the roadway is light by streetlights. The location is quite pleasant seaside. Food was tasty but not spectacular but costs are very reasonable compared to the hotel. We enjoyed the meal.

We arrived just as they opened for dinner to find they were not at all surprised we didn't have a reservation (unlike most). They offered a variety of different selections to choose from. Overall it was a great evening. ATTN: they do offer service with a credit card but cash is easier and you pay up front, not at the... More

When we were given a menu with pictures of the food on it we should have guessed that this was not going to be a fine dining experience. We had an evening meal here. The chicken was tough and the rump steak (dish of the day) was full of gristle. The cat managed to eat most of the steak because... More

Staying at the Sofitel private island for two weeks makes you want to eat something else after a while. This place was just about 1/2 mile walk from the Sofitel Marara. It's located on the beach. You can dig your feet in the sand and eat. They have $12-$16 pizzas which are large enough to share, $11 wings, $15 burgers,... More

Great service and an eclectic menu that was consistently good, if not fantastic. Our meal was satisfying after a day of trekking and this restaurant felt like a (relatively) good value compared to overpriced alternatives. Would recommend the pasta dishes.

right in front of our hotel, otherwise I would not cross the street for it. Iffy service, weak selection, so-so food.

We booked whilst walking along from our hotel nearby. We got to chose an outdoor table which was pleasant despite the windy conditions. When we returned at 7.30 the service was prompt and helpful. The goat cheese entree was delightful, the calamari over fried. The 2 different seafood pasta dishes were generous in amount and very tasty. We could not... More
