While visiting town, we stopped for a late afternoon light refreshment -- sorbet! The lemon sorbet was exceptional and tasted so fresh! It hit the spot and cooled us down so we could resume our sightseeing. The menu pricing looked reasonable, too, so we wouldn't hesitate to visit for lunch.

We went here in late August 2016. We had been staying at one of the motu resorts, and wanted to go explore the mainland, and to stock up on lower-cost staple foods, to give our wallets some much-needed rest!. Several locals suggested Aloe Cafe as an excellent dropoff/pickup point in Vaitape, as well as being a nice "local" place to... More

My wife and I had lunch here twice. Quaint and decent food at reasonable price. Good service. If on main island I would still use this as a stopping place

Nice little place... I'd go back. Wait staff was friendly. My wife and I had wine and beer. The other couple with us had pizza and was thrilled by it...

We stopped here for a light snack before heading back on our boat to our resort. It's in the shade, looks s bit like a shack but actually does some good food we noticed. We enjoyed an ice cream and a milkshake.

Aloe Cafe is a sweet place for what it is. It's a super casual cafe. We had pizza which was a welcomed change of pace and a grilled fish. The green beans were a nice, unexpected side that was available. There's beer, a few wines, and choice of two mixed drinks. They waitstaff was very kind and friendly. They offer... More

Like many previous people have reviewed, its a great little nook to people watch while stopping in town to shop. But more-so it has wi-fi. The servers are friendly, but do not provide you the passwords, rather politely request your device from which they put in the password, and then continue on to the next person in your group( only... It's a nice little cafe in vaitape. It's kind of the only spot to get wifi in vaitape. So I do understand the people who work there probably get annoyed with all the tourists just wanting to use the wifi and not ordering that much.. It's pretty expensive (well it is bora bora) but the juices and cappuccino are very... More
