So nice to sit quietly with free wi fi, rest my feet and have a really good milkshake. A sweet place to have a bite. Of course, it's the only place!

Good food, local hang out with Internet. Rode bikes there from a resort and enjoyed the ambiance which seemed like Starbucks French Polynesian style. Great food and lot's of friendly inter changing of conversation amongst locals and visitors. As always everyone is lovely there. Something is in the water!

Excellent grilled fish burger with decent fries. Cerviche was better than the St. Regis. In the middle of town and has free Wifi with a purchase. Service was good. Casual.

We just stopped in here to have a beer/wine and catch up with the folks back home. Getting onto the WIFI was a bit of an experience and the connection very slow. The beer was cold and the server over worked but I guess that's to be expected when a cruise ship is in town. Can't speak to the food... More

But it was a very pleasant little café and the food we saw passing looked good. Drinks were reasonably priced too

We had lunch at the restaurant while waiting for our shuttle back to the hotel. The food was really good and pints of beer very reasonably priced. The outdoor patio was nice but small and the restaurant was conveniently located in town around the shopping area. It offered good options but is very much a quick in and out restaurant.

While visiting town, we stopped for a late afternoon light refreshment -- sorbet! The lemon sorbet was exceptional and tasted so fresh! It hit the spot and cooled us down so we could resume our sightseeing. The menu pricing looked reasonable, too, so we wouldn't hesitate to visit for lunch.

We went here in late August 2016. We had been staying at one of the motu resorts, and wanted to go explore the mainland, and to stock up on lower-cost staple foods, to give our wallets some much-needed rest!. Several locals suggested Aloe Cafe as an excellent dropoff/pickup point in Vaitape, as well as being a nice "local" place to... More

My wife and I had lunch here twice. Quaint and decent food at reasonable price. Good service. If on main island I would still use this as a stopping place

Thank Victor P
