Lemadang is one of the only two decent restaurants in Tanjung Tinggi (the other one is Kampung Dedaun, which we didn't get to try since they're only open on weekends). It's located in what I reckon as the best part of Tanjung Tinggi beach--it has...plenty of those trademark granite boulders in its vicinity. The building looks promisingly clean and I respect the owner's decision to make the kitchen visible from the dining area. The kitchen looks clean enough for local standards, though it can certainly be improved if it really wants to impress international tourists. However, I feel like after all those initial investment (modern kitchen, Bose speakers, wooden furniture), the owner seems to neglect the operational aspect of this restaurant. The service is slow and the staff are inattentive and look terribly bored. For its pricing, the restaurant can improve by serving a wider range of local dishes, showcasing fresh live fish for customers to choose, and maybe display the price in a more presentable menu booklet.More
Everything we ordered was prepared with very old oil and smell and tasted awful. If you are around that area which you have to if you are visiting Belitung, then just have a beer or two and enjoy the view. I see some review as...excellent so it may have been a bad day that we visited.More
We found this place on our last night in Belitung and were delighted. We had our first dinner at Hotel Santika and were very disappointed. Lemadang was a breath of fresh air. Good food. Well served and excellent value.
My husband and I came to this restaurant because one of our friends was on this beach that day. We decided to have lunch at Lemadang restaurant. The food they offer the mix between western and Indonesian. First, the waiter is lack of knowledge when...we asked them about the fish they serve counting by the kg or by portion. We need to wait 15 min for the answer. And we were waiting for 45 or so minutes until the food served. The grilled fish taste good, but seafood fried rice is dry and salty. Usually, in the other restaurant, we have been to in Belitung, they serve the food very fast. The interior is good, and the place is comfy, but the food and service was not good. When we asked the bill, needs 20minutes until I got up from my seat and went to the cashier place directly. They have six staffs around, but none of them can help with the billing.More

This restaurant is totally overrated.
We only ordered 2 pizzas and had to wait for more than 30 minutes for that. The staffs were clueless and slow. Food was tasteless, cold, and expensive. It was a total disaster.
Such a shame as they have a...nice building and strategic location next to the famous beach.More
