We ate here early on a Sat night. The service is amazing, food incredible and atmosphere awesome. The only issue was quantity.....as in there was too much! Two adults, two children and three mezes were too much. A nice problem to have though!!

As a local, I have visited numerous taverns over the years. I had heard about Voreas several times before but only managed to visit for the first time on the 5th March when I reunited with my university friends. The tavern is located in the traditional centre of Oroklini village. The streets are narrow, but there is sufficient parking in... More

We had the meze and were not disappointed. The food was well prepared and plentiful. Avoid eating the bread and chips as the superb meat dishes are served later in the proceedings. Fantastic location and an efficient and friendly service. Do book ahead particularly at the weekends. Parking plentiful and I would recommend a walk around the village. Several pubs/cafes... More

Although hidden away from the more garish place, Lithios, this restaurant and bar was where we chose to eat Christmas Lunch. The menu is authentic Greek, and the chef is the same. The fact that it was full of locals was in itself a recommendation, and we felt quite at home, being treated like old friends, with excellent service and... More

We arrived with empty stomachs to tackle a typical cypriot meat mezze with one vege option to temper the meat fest. The internal courtyard had been shuttered in with plastic screens and overhead heaters to keep us warm and the place rapidly filled up with locals. We kicked off with some house red in a carafe which tasted like vinegar.... More

After a number of recommendations by locals to try Voreas and especially their "Meze" special, we decided to give it a shot, for an important family occasion. Meze is supposed to be their forte, what they're best known for, and so we had high hopes of a nice, traditional Cypriot dinner. The first round of the meze dishes was almost... More

Visited this restuarant upon recommendation and was not disappointed. The meat meze offers roughly 25 dishes and certainly leaves you full and with the feeling that you have tasted some of the best dishes native to Cyprus. The staff were extremely attentive and catered to any requests we had without hesitiation e.g. no eggs and were willing to swap ingredients... More

Tavern with a charming, rustic atmosphere, attentive staff and very good food. Their meze is excellent, and as one of us is vegetarian they added some variations to the usual selection. We came twice, and as we could not allow us to stuff ourselves with meze for a second time, also tried dishes from the menu. They were also very... More

We come here every year, the meze is exceptional and the service is so friendly. It attracts lots of locals and this helps to provide a lovely atmosphere.
