Following the relaxation of the lockdown in the UK and Spain, we visited Orgiva for the sixth year running and decided to give the El Limonero a go. Good news is that they had Spanish cider on draught - very tasty. In keeping with what...now seems a common theme across Spain, you are encouraged to use a smartphone to scan a QR code on the paper table mat which then links to their menu online. We tried the Empanadas (think mini Cornish pasties) for starters, each trying a Beef and a vegetable example. They were equally delicious. Main course was the Pizza style Secreto. Secreto Iberico is one of my favourite dishes to eat while in Spain and this had a new twist - a tomato and grilled mozzarella cheese topping. Again this was delicious. For dessert, we shared a chocolate praline creation served with vanilla ice cream - perfect. Two coffees, a Tia Maria and a brandy wrapped the meal up nicely. The final bill was just short of €70. All in all a very satisfactory meal and we will return again next year.More

More expensive than the average restaurant in Orgiva but well worth the visit as the food is excellent as is the service. They also sell a variety of incredible breads - I bought a sourdough loaf with a 13 year culture! Yum!

We've been visiting this establishment for the past 9 years. We go for the best food in town or Coffee with friends Saturday morning. Fantastic menu of the day and the a la carte menu is excellent too. Had a wonderful Christmas menu there last...year...Can't wait to book again this year. The staff are very friendly and service is good. Always take friends and family there when they come to visit.More

Food cooked perfectly, plenty of imaginative options on the menu including vegetarian and gluten-free. Chef clearly knows what she/he is doing. We enjoyed every dish during our family evening out - they catered brilliantly for our toddler granddaughter as well as veggie son and gluten...free me. Nothing was too much trouble, service was fast and efficient. Highly recommended.More

Homemade Ravioli was tough, tasteless and the sauce was an awful sweet tomato sauce. The ravioli from Lidl’s was cheaper and better! I ordered the cod that had a sweet, honey bechmel topping. It was awful. The cod was served alone, on a bed of...tomato sauce. The service was poor. The location was also poor. I do not recommend this place at allMore

This unassuming restaurant was a surprise. The service was welcoming & attentive. The menu is varied, the food delicious & very elegantly presented. Their signature lemon desert is amazing.

Popped into the Limonero for a quick drink Sunday morning and the tapas were superb. They looked good and they tasted great. Top marks to the kitchen.

Nice lay back environment, when evening falls they cover the roof so you still sit outside without getting it cold.

The best coffee in town (I drink it black, so can really taste it!). Friendly service. I will be back to try the food!

This is a little bit of heaven. A beautiful Spanish style villa with a very good restaurant. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the food was an excellent example of good local cuisine. The restaurant is in an orchard of fruit and walnut...trees. A most charming setting.More

No stairs to go up, it is a slight ramp that takes you to the area outside of the restaurant and no stairs into the restaurant. Enjoy.
