I am an Indian and I know everything there needs to know about Indian food. Firstly. How this restaurant got a Michelin star is beyond me. I think you can purchase them on the internet nowadays. Secondly, the vegetarian food here is not good. It's tasteless, bland and has no flavour. For example, the samosas are so small and crispy.... More

My husband and I wanted to try Prashads I'd been when it was over on Ingleby Road but had never had chance to visit Drighlington . My husband who is vegetarian said it is the only curry house who would ever need ; we fully enjoyed everything we tried the sharing platter was a good way to try a selection... More

The starters were fantastic. We were even offered to try something Newton try as starter. The Bombay street food as starter was mouth watering. But, disappointed with the main course. We tried the aubergine curry with roti. It was bland, watery and lacked flavours

I do sometimes wonder what some of the curious people who leave poor reviews because they could not find a restaurant, or are late and have to wait for a short while or "have to ask for the bill twice" get off on? Frequently their spelling is poor which possibly says it all. If you're too thick to spell words... More

My partner and I travelled over from Preston last night to see what all the fuss was about with Prashad and it is safe to say we will be returning again shortly! From start to finish our visit was brilliant, the atmosphere was lovely, the food was second to none and the staff could not do enough for you. We... More

A family favourite from many years ago when we used to visit a tiny shop in the suburbs of Bradford City. Many years have elapsed yet to be told of a restaurant opening. Anticipation to kindle and savour the flavours from a childhood memory; did not fail. A concise menu, not fussy or pretentious in any shape or form; a... More

I visited this restaurant with my husband last week. It was my second visit , the first one was when they were still in the old small building in Bradford. I must say, I was very pleased and impressed with everything. Three factors that, in my opinion, make a restaurant great : food, service and atmosphere,- all three were at... More

Beautiful food once again, served by very friendly and efficient staff, in pleasant surroundings. Left it too long since going to this place again. Feel I'm repeating my first review; I'm not a vegetarian, but this is about the tastiest Indian food I've eaten. No need for the carnivores amongst us to worry, every dish we ordered was delicious.

Description
Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers.

In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!
