Attentive and knowledgeable staff and well presented, well cooked food. I only wish we had stayed longer and had time for a second visit. Sadly, they were closed on our last night : (

The restaurant is in an old building absolutely beautiful. Maybe an old place to make olive oil. The whole dining room is very nice and the decoration is OK. The food is very disappointing, not so much choice and our risotto was under cooked. Staff is nice.

Colle di Val d'Elsa is a very small Tuscan hill town and we did not expect to find such a lovely restaurant there. Unusual decor, excellent food. We asked for a couple of things not on the menu and they readily provided them. Traditional Italian atmosphere. Menu included some surprises like dishes featuring wild boar and rabbit. Pasta was home... More

This is a really unique restaurant set in an old olive old factory in the old walled town. The food was nice, but could be better with attention to detail. My quail could have benefited with a bit of gravy or jus.

The best thing about our meal was the amuse bouche--perfect combination of (chicken) liver pate, fig marmalade wrapped in prosciutto--DIVINE. Then came the OVERCOOKED pasta with shaved truffles. Lastly, the meat: although we did request it to be served medium plus, it was DRY. Service was good. Our table was properly remarked. However, the male server DID have an arrogant... More

Ate there tonight, very impressed. Service, price, down in an authentic rustic setting with brick ceilings, local and felt like stepped back in time. Had an olive press in restaurant from 1888. Surprised place was not higher on TripAdvisor list. Highly recommend. Highlight was ossobuco and pasta with shaved truffles

We visited for dinner after recommendation from our hotel. Very nice and cozy place. There were only locals and us. We had the steak fiorentina. It was so good! Nice service to. Go here to get a local experience.

This town is beautiful, and the restaurant was very unique. I went with a large group for a business dinner. The service and food were excellent, I would definitely recommend it. We did not order off of the menu but had a preset meat, but the menu did look great.

This restaurant is within the old walled town, below street level in a charming warren of rooms. We had the boar pasta which was excellent. A good wine list and service too. We felt as if we were eating in a local Italian restaurant with lovely hospitality.
