Witness to the times gone by. Not too touristy. Worth a brief visit. May not be bad to stay for a few days if you are into spa services.

We had dinner here one night a little over a month ago. The service was friendly, if a little slow. The food was excellent -starter, main course and dessert, a trifecta!

Charming surrounding, good choice of smaller exquisit restaurants for different budgets and coffee places. Ist Outsider and just enjoy.

It took ages just to get our hands on a menu while sitting at a semi clean table. Staff was visibly not in control of customer service and added to a bad atmosphere with their unhappy looks. At times, the level of disorganisation even sparked discussions between guest tables. Once I pointed out my unhappiness, our table got some faked... More

This was one of the stops on our cycling tour for an overnight. We had had a lengthy cycle which included a detour to the lovely san Quirico d'Orcia, a cycle past the tiny but lovely Vignoni Alto (eight houses and a Romanesque chapel) and then down a scarily steep strada Bianca which unfortunately we had to cycle back up... We had a nice lunch at this pretty place. Not pretentious at all, simple good food. Nice salami and bruschetta platter to start with and two kinds of pasta: pici with ragù toscano and duck sauce. Iced coffee and ice cream to finish our meal. The lady that served us was very nice and kind, she had provided great service.... More

Having had lunch nearby and both declining dessert (we spend our lives trying to keep weight off), we arrived by the thermal baths in 30 degrees and decided that we had to have an ice cream. Very friendly service and our tiramisu ice cream (yum) and frozen yoghurt were brought out to us with drinks.

We went here on our last night and regretted not going on the other nights. Some of the other higher rated restaurants was actually a disappointment. Excellent service and food!! I would suggest going here first before the other restaurants.

Dined one evening in the outside restaurant which overlooks the thermal pool. Lovely romantic setting. Good food. Only negative was that the waitress was rather abrupt, but more in an efficient way than being bad at her job. Overall, I would recommend it to others.
