We returned to the Paralimni restaurant after a good meal last year. Not disappointed. Staff warm and welcoming and delicious fish. Complimentary dessert.

Always Fantastic service, quality food, a real taste of Cyprus. If you visit in the summer they are located on the main Protaras strip and in winter they are in the village center. I would say book ahead at peak times, and they busy every night.

We were strolling through Protaras to try and find somewhere nice to eat in the evening. We were not keen on British pubs banging out Abba at full blast. This place seemed a good option and more 'Greek' which is what we want when in Cyprus! We were made to feel welcome and staff were very friendly. We sat outside... More

Asked for a medium T Bone steak as I really fancied it.....I got a charcoaled cremation. My other three guests were equally not impressed with their meals. Ideal surroundings tho. Service not brilliant. May have got them on an off night, but after being recommended this place I would suggest look for a better alternative.

As veggies we knew they could make moussaka without meat, and it was very good too. But the vegetarian plate made our day! Loads of food, well seasoned and tasty.

My husband and i visited Vangelis Tavern twice when we holidayed in Protaras in May and loved it. This time our daughter is with us and we all really enjoyed our meals, the carafe of house wine and the friendly service. We are hoping to visit again before we go home :)

Description
With a family history since end of 19th century, Vangelis Tavern was a landmark for Paralimni and greater Famagusta area for many years. Now the 5th generation of restaurateurs is running the business in a place established in 1948. During summer our tavern is moving to Protaras in the hotels Avenue.
