My wife and I called in on off chance of grabbing little bit to eat after walking around local area We were told it was fully booked but could sit outside on tables after a few minutes a waitress said there was a table available...until 8pm as it was only 6pm we took this option only wanting a small amount of food we ordered from small plate going for fish cakes with large chunky chips The food was served promptly looking well presented and generous portions the taste was fantastic. The staff were very helpful an cheerful Will definitely return a must place to visit when in the areaMore

Went yesterday, sat outside in the sun and had the Sunday lunch. Pork dish and beef. Absolutely fabulous I would say the best Sunday lunch ever. Vegetables so fresh and meat so tasty. Compliments to the chefs.

We have just returned from a really lovely lunch. Call outs, incredible Monkfish with tandoori carrots and the awesome sticky toffee pudding. Great to see a wine list refresh, which in my eyes was overdue. Service was really friendly and organised. Enjoyed it so much...booked another lunch for 4 weeks time!More

Hi, thank you for accepting my booking and allowing me to turn up tonight to find the restaurant closed! Why continue to allow bookings? Unacceptable.

We have visited Staith House a number of times over the last few years but I will never go back now! We stopped in the car park for a couple of minutes and as my husband got out of the car we incurred a parking...fine?! The place wasn't even open!! I seriously think they should think about who they are using to monitor their car park as it is a complete SCAM! I won't go back out of principle now. Such a shame.More

This is a late review from July. I managed to get an outside table when the uk allowed restaurants to re-open. As always the food was fantastic! It was a sunday dinner and delicious. But even better was the standard of service and all covid...compliant. Lovely waiter, friendly, efficient and wore a mask. The only problem was my son was charged wrongly as he paid for two tables and didn’t notice till later.More

It was my wife and I’s wedding anniversary during October so we thought we’d pop out for some dinner . A couple of nearer Resturants were closed so we thought the Staith House would be an option this was also closed as it was a...Wednesday evening so we decided to just get some fish and chips from across the road . We were in the Staith House Care Park for 7 mins in total and aghast to be sent a parking fine for £100. I’m surprised this practice is in place when the premises aren’t even open and under the current circumstances the wider food/hospitality businesses could do with as much income as possible . The menu is ok, I liked the scotch eggs but can safely say I’ll never step foot in these premises again . Poor show from Staith House if I was a neighbouring business you wouldn’t be in my Christmas Card list .More

Booked as a treat. We had high expectations reading that this place was award winning and held a mitchelin star. Very disappointing. Limited menu, offering one vegetarian dish, fish n chips and burger and chips or a steak. Honestly we could have gone to hungry horse...or the chippy across the road for same meal at half the cost. Sorry. It didn't meet our expectations and we left disappointed.More

They do not sell alcohol free wine. In fact, you would find it difficult to find any restaurants that do - I certainly have not. They do sell alcohol free beer, though, which is good.
