Waited half and hour for someone to take order and more than an hour for grill. Calamari was over grilled.Very disappointed. Not worth it at all. They're is far more better sea food places in cox's bazar

We ate 9" see food pizza. That was very tasty with two types of sauces. Great location to take photos in night.

I think the restaurant is over rated compared to the service and taste they are providing. Food is average. Too much mosquitoes in the evening. Instead of using toxic coils, they should clean the water bodies properly to destroy the mosquito nests.

It was just a quick visit and we did not have time for drinks or food. The location is superb and the only place that has some design values. Bangladesh is a disaster for architects but Mermaid Cafe and the eco-resort is tastefully designed using recycled materials.

A wide range of sea food variety and a nice to place sit and watch the sea while having dinner. Food is slightly overrated.

I guess I'm not much of an eco tourist and same goes for my wife too. She actually felt a bit unsafe given it was a bit secluded and dark. I didn't like it coz of the no AC as well as the stupid bugs all over the place. Granted mosquito coil was there but i hate those bloody things!... More

Description
The only sea food cafe on the beach at Cox's Bazar with music as its back drop. The cafe management is strict on serving organic food and well known for pampering the guests. The place where full moon parties are a common scenario with the roars of the sea playing as DJ. If you want to dine with a view of the beach, with the sound of the sea, so close to the beach that your toes are in the sand, there is only one place to go to in Cox's Bazar - The Mermaid Café! On the beach between Shugandha and Kolatoli Beach, opposite Uni-Resort, the Mermaid Café has great food. When you add great food to an unbelievably great location, the Mermaid Café offers a dining experience in Cox's Bazar, second to none.
