We come here often, honestly can not fault it at all. Great food, great staff, great prices. There was a singer on here the other week and he was great too. 💯✔️

Had a first visit here at the weekend on a spur of the moment decision, and a good decision it was! Pub's just been refurbished, a maritime theme with cannons and rigging, i reckon it looks great! Food was excellent, four of us ate, all different dishes, and all said would definitely have them again, until they tasted my slow... More

We booked for 13 of us on a Saturday. Food all arrived at the same time. Massive portions. You certainly won't go hungry. All freshly cooked and really tasty. Ribs are ginormous and so tender they fell off the bone. They are doing a big refurb too so will look quite smart when done. Go and support a local hostelry... More

11 people for a sit down meal on a Saturday afternoon, we didn't book we just turned up "on mass" food was delicious, good value and a good afternoon was had by all, they were in the middle of doing some re-refurbishment but that never took the quality away from the food.

Had heard from friends that the pub was being re decorated and that the food was good so thought we'd pay a visit with friends. We had booked a table and were told at the point of booking that there was a band playing that night, so we were put in the picture about what to expect straight away. Turned... More

Thanks for taking the time to review us, sorry about the cut of the steak, our butcher cuts them for us and they are normally over size rather than under, its very rarely this happens, apologies also for the chips, thanks for staying the rest of the evening, hope to see you again soon. More

Food: 4.5 Drink: 5 Staff: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Due to work, I don’t often get out but last night my partner and I decided to go grab some food at The Flying Dutchmen. I haven’t been here for a while and I was quite looking forward to see the refurbishment. The front bar has been transformed to what I think... More

Food took 45 minutes to get from ordering to the table. This is because they forgot to put our order through to the kitchen. Would of rated one star but gave it three stars because the food was good. Just didn't imagine the very long wait. Thank goodness I didn't have my 2 young kids with me- that would of... More

Let's focus on the thing that's most important; the food was good, you clearly have no understanding of human error even though you were given free drinks as a way of an apology, and it was 30 mins because we have checked the till reciept. The works outside caused you no disruption at all as it was outside and not... More

After previously visiting the five bridges & having an absolute nightmare & awful lunch I have to admit I was a bit dubious about eating out again literally a couple of days later. After living on the island for almost two years now we have heard about the food here & were intrigued to see what all the fuss was... More

I have to say that's an exceptional review and the hard work all the staff put in pays off, everything is cooked fresh, all the veg comes from our local farm shop and it takes a lot of preparation, so when we get reviews like this it's worth the effort, the staff love it thanks very much. More
