For the last 3 years, we have a holiday home about 20km away and this is our first visit to this restaurant and won't be the last. The service was very friendly, efficient and all dishes were well described. 3 of us had the 31...Euro menu and the other the 43 Euro one, and apart from slightly less choice, the 31 Euro menu is just as good. Imaginatively combined ingredients and tastes and beautiful layout of the food. Quiet, but it was a very thundery Wednesday evening. Throughly recommended.More

We had high hopes of an enjoyable lunch time meal when we booked this restaurant given the positive reviews it has received. Our plan was to sample the Plats du Jour menu and return a few days later for a more leisurely gastronomic meal. Our...Plats du Jour meal was perfectly acceptable, however it did not set pulses racing and we will not be returning as planned. We had main courses of Pork and of Turkey, both with a Tuna Pate starter. We also felt that the restaurant itself lacked character and had the feeling of a recently converted shop. Parking outside the restaurant was easy and free and for those travelling along the nearby motorway, it was easy to find. They accept payment by card.More

We came to this restaurant not expecting much, but the food was very good and the service was good too. The waitress didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much French, but we made our way through the evening just fine. It was worth...the drive.More

Great find in a small town. I will let the pictures tell the story. Everything tasted as good as it looked. Lovely local wines complimented the food. Service outstanding.

We recently ate a creative, delicious, three-course menu here for lunch for 17 euros! A seafood starter (salad or croustade) was followed by pork loin or filet mignon and accompaniments as main. Dessert was a choice of fruit tart or panna cotta. Every dish was...beautifully presented. Service was attentive and not pretentious. Well worth trying.More

We stayed in Ille sur Tet for two nights and ate here both evenings as we enjoyed our first visit so much. The food, wine, and service were all wonderful. We were staying in the town in order to complete the purchase of a property...nearby and the lovely girl who is front of house even insisted that we have aperitifs on the house to celebrate our purchase. A celebration of local foods (and some French classics) with superb, creative cooking, served without the over the top setting and service that can spoil many restaurants of this class. Looking forward to visiting regularly!More

The food is superb, very good French cuisine. The price is superb as well. So the moral of the story is you get what you pay for. Wil definetely come back but need to save some money first

It's not for looks or the fancy interior that you go there. Food is the destination. Crème brûlée de foie gras or carbonara made from calamari... The culinary twists of the local chef are definite worth your visit, or two))
