Beautiful place, good food, nice people, excelent owner! You should have dinner here if you are visiting Altamura. Best wines! Interesting building. Good location, in the center of Altamura.

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Italy. The ambiance and decor is spectacular, along with the food. I would strongly recommend it to anyone traveling to or through the Altamura area. I hope to be back next some!

Una fetta di pane di Altamura, pregiato manzo cotto con burro Bercy. Cibi tipici e fragranti, accanto al miglior luppolo made in Italy. Rossi e bianchi delle più rinomate cantine del Belpaese e dei migliori sotteranei vinicoli della Puglia: regione magica, dove la terra si trasforma in vino. La Murgia più aspra e più sassosa per sfondo, a due palmi dalla Cattedrale di Federico II di Svevia e dall'antica Piazza Castello. Tre sale e un'incantevole grotta scavata nella roccia. L'eleganza rustica del locale cattura viandanti affamati che da timidi e aridi si fanno impavidi e buoni. Il Malandrì vi accoglie tra muri di antiche pietre e volte a botte, dove colori e profumi di una contrada selvatica danno pienezza di gusto ad agrodolci di carni, salumi e formaggi. E un arrivederci alla lentezza con croccanti di noci e grappa.
