We had an amazing dinner here, and would return again without hesitation. Everything was excellent from beginning to end. The restaurant is nicely decorated in a soothing ocean theme. A fireplace was ablaze at the other end of the room. We were greeted and seated immediately, given menus, and asked if we wanted aperitif. We ordered a bottle of wine... More

I can't imagine that the negative reviews I just read were of the same restaurant we visited. The food was absolutely wonderful. We had a variety of main courses-lamb, beef, sole- and we were all very pleased. The staff was very welcoming and very attentive and pleasant. We would definitely return!

We enjoyed the oysters and langoustines at Azimut. Soup w/ peppers/raspberries/olive oil/red fruit jam was awesome. Nice views and easy environs - we'd go again.

I should have guessed from the moment we were greeted that the negative reviews I had read were spot on... The staff are so sulky and disinterested... We arrived at 8pm and were served our entree at 9.24pm, with not as much as "excuse the delay" or an explanation - I get that dining in France is a 3 hour... More

I wonder if there has been another change of chef since I last reviewed the Azimut, around 18 months ago? On a recent visit here for Sunday lunch we sat in a sparsely populated restaurant and ate food that revealed some technical skills but that ultimately left us seriously disappointed. A crab starter with yuzu confit and various other flavours... More

Food and service very good. We had the 3 course meal at about 40€ a head. Well presented and very tasty. The wine list is extensive, but very expensive , the cheapest bottle of wine being over 30€s. Would we go again?, yes for the food but we would not have a bottle of wine!!

We splashed out the €60 tasting menu. This was 2 starters, 2 main courses, 1 cheese plate, 2 desserts. We were given an amuse-bouche to start and ordered coffee which came with petit fours! We spent nearly 4 hours eating at a lovely relaxed pace admiring the view! Service was just right - not too fast or slow, the food... More

We had a wonderful lunch here - knew L'Azimut by reputation but had never been. We decided to be daring and went for the tasting menu - this was a great decision and the food was both outstanding and was plentiful..... amuse bouch, two starters, two mains, cheese, two desserts - wow! The first starter was a lovely melon soup... More

We stumbled upon L'Azimut during a walk around the local coast paths. We ordered oysters then langoustine, described as a "grande entrée/big starter" although a feast of about 30 langoustine a head arrived. Add a little sunshine and a good, chilled white wine for a memorable lunch. Excellent service that allowed two scruffy walkers to dally and still be at... More

We returned to L'Azimut after a break of a decade. It was a restaurant that always used to be on our list of places to go when in southern Brittany; I'm not sure why it fell off that list but I'm pleased to say that even in its latest incarnation it remains very good. We were found an excellent table... More
