Very good traditional food. Very proper. You can see how they cook. Very fresh and delicious juices.

we asked a local were to eat and they recommended it. That was a great choice. We had fish and bean soup, it was delicious. I wish we had that restaurant all over costa rica.
After doing the Rio Celeste hike we stopped and had the best Casado with tilapia fillet of the entire trip. Really slow food vibe. The place smells amazing as well!
We ate here most nights since the food/value ratio was terrific. The place was conveniently located down the road from our lodge and we were served with a smile with delicious local fare.

I had been here once before and raved about it. Maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen the time. So, so this time around, but I'd go back again.
Best corn bread (pan de elote) and Chorreadas I've had around Costa Rica. The coffee is also amazing. Casados are very tasty and portions are very good.
