A simple Bajan bar.
Great vibe especially when there is live music. The owner and his staff are super friendly and if you are here long enough you are quickly accepted as part of the woodwork. Come and watch the Stingrays, or Sunset. If you...are hungry grab some freshly cooked fish and just kick back....And let life wash over you (watch the rum it's potent)More
This patio (let's not confuse it with a bar) gets very crowded. Sure, its got a nice setting and, yes, it is very casual. But there are too few wait staff, a menu that is limited in the first place (and even more limited when...they tell you what isn't available) a one-man kitchen that can't keep up and picnic table seating that won't encourage you to stay. Great place if you are a smoker and love live music that prevents anything close to a conversation. This was the worst place I have been to in my three years of coming to this wonderful island.More
Drinks are well priced, service is good, staff are friendly and knowledgeable, music is a mix of current reaching back to the 70s. Sports matches are shown on the TV behind the bar. There's live music 2 nights a week, featuring local performers.
We went on a Friday night with a friend and the place was super busy. We had three rounds of drinks and listened to two young ladies belt out some great music. I was surprised they had some nice wines, normally a bar in Barbados...is into beer and rum punches. I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve lived in Barbados for 9 years and this bar is a 2 minute drive away from me, I can’t for the life of me figure out why we never went there before. Thank you to our friend Michael for introducing us. It’s a great spot nice vibe and the next time we will stay for a meal!More
