We arrived to a relatively full restaurant and were escorted to the lounge until our table was ready. Considering we didn't have a reservation, I was happy that they went out of their way to feed us. Staff are always friendly and professional but during this encounter, our waitress wasn't the best communicator. We ordered sparking water and after some... More

Have been going to visit this restaurant every time we visit Barbados and finally made it there this time. We stopped for lunch, luckily we got a table as we had not made a reservation. It sits on the sea with lovely views. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere. A lovely lunch will certainly be back and recommend... More

Start with the positives. The bread pudding was fantastic. Now the negatives. Lobster bisque just might have been tomatoe soup. If you order a prawn Caesar salad you will receive three prawns on the salad. You might think this is a little short of expectations so,according to the chef to whom we complained, you could always" ask for more as... More

We were such fans of this. We went as a family of five and had such a happy chilled night. The carpaccio was stunning and the curry was a keen favourite in the family (I think we all had curry!). The setting was beautiful! It isn't cheap but for a special evening it is just lovely. There is a table... More

Was recommended a trip to The Fish Pot by other guests staying at Mango Bay in Holetown, and what a treat. Stunning view of the Caribbean from our table (wish I'd brought my snorkel). Laid back atmosphere with excellent service and even better food. Rum punch was great, we've had some amazing food in Barbados, but this comes out on... More

The view is amazing and in a quiet area north of Speightstown. You can get a water taxi home from the back. Food is delicious. We went on separate days for breakfast, lunch and dinner! For lunch the tuna poke is amazing. The breakfast is ok (sadly no pancakes) but what we did have was really tasty and the view... More

We always are glad to return to this well run , little restaurant ,both on the edge of the gentle west coast sea and a lively Bajan waterfront village. The service is sometimes haphazard, the food not always at the apex, but overall the experience as you sit with the soft waves almost lapping below yout feet, is positive and... More

The Fish Pot has a great beach front location with most of the tables having uninterrupted views. We went at lunchtime to take full advantage. The food was excellent. The octopus and calamari were both wonderful starters. This coming from someone who normally would choose neither. All the main courses were very good. For those with a sweet tooth, look... More

We called in for lunch without a reservation and were seated at beach view table. Our host was the owner who explaned what was on offer. My wife chose the excellent Mahi mahi. I chose the breast of chicken. Both were lovely. Do go here and also the Atlantis, their sister hotel where we also enjoyed an excelent lunch.

I didn't want to use the above title but I think it's true, certainly when it comes to seafood. A beautiful location, super friendly staff and wonderful food. We had an evening meal this time so missed out on the fish platter but the catch of the day, blackened mahi mahi did it for me.
