Mixed feedback. Great location and decor - there was 3 of us and we had to send the catch of the day back as it was dry / overcooked, they did take it off the bill however it meant timings all out for our table...when an alternative dish was served. Had high expectations and left with an overall feeling that they are missing the attention to detail to make this a repeat venue / star of the gap which it certainly has the potential for. When it was open their sister restaurant Cin Cin was 3 x a better experience .More

My husband and a friend stopped in for lunch yesterday, The restaurant is positioned right in the bay at the very end of St Lawrence gap and enjoys amazing views of the bay. The interior is gorgeous and very tastefully decorated and furnished. Our table...was overlooking the sea which was so relaxing to gaze over at the boats and palm trees. The food was exceptional, 2 of us ordered the truffle ravioli appetizer which was amazing, followed by 2 x tuna salads and I had the mushroom risotto. The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better. the salads were quite unusual with asparagus and grilled pecan nuts as well as perfectly seared tuna and the usual salad leaves. The risotto was perfectly cooked and really tasty too. The staff were friendly especially our waiter whose name I forget unfortunately, but he was really lovely, looked after us well, making sure everything was good, moving the blinds so we could enjoy the view but not overheat in the sunshine. I Highly recommend this restaurant which we think gives some of the More well known Barbados fine dining restaurants a good run for their money. We have been here for 2 months and wish we had tried this restaurant earlier as we going home this week, but on our next visit to Barbados we will return to Primo.More

This was my first visit to Primo and since it was under new management. I thought it was good overall, but I wasn't blown away by the food, although the presentation of it was excellent. To me, the vibe is like an upmarket bistro. Nice...setting by the water and overall decor and layout is nice and contemporary. The service was good, and from what I remembered the menu was reasonably priced too. It worked for our girl's night out and would be a good spot for a group dinner or casual dinner with your partner. It wouldn't be a top pick for me to celebrate a special occasion.More

..was delish! My only complain is that my stomach is too small to fit all those appetising dishes on the menu! I had the fish soup as starter and the flying fish with the breadfruit mash (cou cou). The restaurant is by the sea so...needless to say that the view was breathtaking. Jamal was our waiter and he deserves all the praise, attentive and made sure our glasses were topped with wine. If we return to Barbados, Primo will be one of my first choices for a splendid evening dinner.More

Its always a recommendation for friends and family whenever they're looking for a good fine dining location. The views are just spectacular 👌 🙌 😍. The food was good but can be more consistent. Ordered my steak medium but got it well done. They did...offer to change it but I didn't make a fuss. It was still packed with loads of flavor. A big shout out to or server Jamal!!!! Your service delivery was awesome 👌 👏.More

This was probably the BEST dine-out experience I have had to date. The staff was exceptionally courteous and the service was prompt and world-class. Let's not get into the food!...it was simply delicious AND quite filling. I have had numerous other fine dining experiences and...they cannot compare to Primo. This review would not be complete if I didnt commend my waiter Ron; what a truly remarkable guy. Keep up the good work folks!More

It’s not our first visit to Primo and we love its location next to the sea and the beautiful view. We were given a lovely sea-side table and the staff and service was great. We felt very safe with sanitising & masks etc. The food...and cocktails were very tasty. The fish got the thumbs up and the pasta & risotto were perfect.More

This used to be one of our favourite places to eat on the island, however, how we were treated the last time we were there really left us with a sour note. Before we even entered the door we were ignored while other guests (that...didn’t look like us) were greeted pleasantly and ushered through. We then had to approach one of the hostesses who then proceeded to look us up and down before uttering a response. Mind you, we both with casually dressed, (myself- jeans, blouse and heels , while my partner was wearing a t-shirt, chino shorts and trainers). After looking at us in disdain, we were then told we needed a mask to enter. Fair enough. Even though another couple in front of us got seated without masks. Again, that couple didn’t look like us. No problem, we had our masks in the car which was parked in the car park directly across the road. We retrieved them and came back, only to be told that the kitchen was closed. SERIOUSLY?? Absolutely atrocious. Obviously we didn’t “fit” the desired looked of the restaurant that night but of course they couldn’t say that. Instead they decided to give us the run around as well as terrible service. Such a shame that some of these restaurants like to prejudge you based on the way you look. My money would no longer be spent here.More
