We happened upon this place as we were walking through Bampton. The servers were charming. The food was flavorful and delicious. And the back patio was a lovely place to enjoy it all. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant roast lunch at this small restaurant in what we gather was the old post office in the main square. Portions adequate though not huge. Asked for a no-alcohol lager but they didn't have one. Beautifully cooked and pleasant atmosphere.
Not our first visit, in fact we are "repeat offenders"! However, last nights meal was another delight. Authentic starter, great quality steak from local butcher with dauphinois (so much better than chips for me), and a superb homemade dessert. Biztro is a great asset to Bampton and should be supported by the locals, great food and a warm welcome on... More
Once again a wonderful meal at The Biztro, new waiting staff but they were very good. Food was amazing as usual, lovely atmosphere. The prawn starters were very yummy and were shelled so no fiddling. The steaks were so tender. Would love to see the bread baskets with balsamic back on the table to nibble before starters arrive and maybe... More
Went here for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. The starters were good and the mains really super, - great gravy, super roast potatoes and excellent meat, with some well cooked veg. Desserts could have been better but I prefer savoury food anyway. A good selection of wine, very reasonably priced. I will definitely return here. The setting is nice... More
Had another lovely evening out at Biztro, a real gem on our doorstep. Great to see (and try one) some new wines on the list. Lovely food and the usual good service. On last few occasions we visited we came for the Supper Club evening, a great way to meet new people and always a good theme to the food... More
We called in on the off chance. The young waiter was very welcoming and managed to find us a table at short notice. We stopped for Sunday . lunch which was delicious. We both enjoyed the roast chicken which was accompanied by a selection of fresh vegetables. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed. A great find. We shall visit... More
I found this restaurant underwhelming, especially in view of the hype. For example, they had a beef and ale pie on their menu, but in reality it was just an pie filling with a puff pastry lid. (Can't the chef make a shortcrust pastry?) I had a chicken dish that had so many ingredients it didn't know whether it was... More
Dear Ernest I was sorry to receive this review. Our King Goblin Pie is made with steak from our local butcher which is from a farm less than 2 miles from Bampton and the ale is from a local brewery in Witney, we have had many positive comments on how delicious it is. I note that you did not eat... More
