We waited for over 2.5h to get our main meal served and we got the worst meat I ever ate in my life. Over cooked, hard, impossible to know what cut of meat it was. Clearly a good wine bar but doesn’t know how to...do food.More

We are truly sorry that you didn’t enjoy your evening in our restaurant, and we apologize for the problem that you had with your meat. We are working with a good butcher and we never had the same problem before. We will be more attentive...More

It was clear to use that they earn the money on the wine. After waiting 2 hours and many bottle of wines we got the starter. Not impressed but hungry waiting for the main course (guided by more wine) it was a disaster. The Roastbeef...was simply bad. Do not know the exact reason but the evening was unacceptable.More

Meat overcooked, side dishes were mediocre at best. Vegetarian main dish was basically a compilation of side dishes.More

For my 70th birthday party we were attracted by the deal offered by Viktoria and Damien to be able to take over their whole restaurant for the evening. It worked out perfectly and all 32 attendees thoroughly enjoyed the whole proceedings. The food was immaculately...conceived and prepared, the Valaisan wines suggested by them fitted perfectly, the service was friendly and efficient, and the whole atmosphere was truly memorable. Bravo : thoroughly recommended.More

The food here is very good and the service was very attentive and fun. It was probably a bit more "up market" than we usually go for after a day skiing but the beef my husband and I shared was terrific and my daughter enjoyed...her Risotto. Although the decoration was well designed and created a good ambiance, being quite short I found the high stools and tables a bit of a struggle and it was difficult to remain dignified, so for future I will request one of the low tables.More

I had a dinner here with friends while on skiing holiday. Place looks really nice and the service is good. However the food does not live up against the prices. Especially the vegetarian meal is bad. Cote de boeuf was undercooked and the risotto tastes...like Mac and cheese. If the place would pick up a bit on the food it would be excellentMore

We were actually booked at a different restaurant but when we arrived that restaurant was, to our surprise, closed! So we ended up in Point Gourmand simply because we needed something to eat & very quickly our disappointment at the our booked venue being closed,...disappeared! Be warned, this place isn't cheap but if you're a foodie then you'll feel it worth the money - an absolutely amazing meal. We tried the 6 course "surprise" menu, we were asked if there is anything we can't/don't eat and then the courses started coming and what a delight! Completely top end, fine dining style food, every course had been thought about, was beautifully balanced, packed full of flavour & everything perfectly cooked by someone who is obviously very skilled in the kitchen and understands food - I honestly didn't want it to end! We were also recommended wines to accompany some courses and were simply poured a glass each (no trying to sell you loads of alcohol). So many times, I've heard on cooking programs "The fish is the star of this dish" and this is the 1st time I've eaten a course of food and actually got that!! Couple this amazing food with friendly, knowledgeable service & we had the most wonderful evening.More
