We tried to go there yesterday at 6.30pm (according to the opening hours in the description). After arriving a few minutes early, still nobody was there to prepare the restaurant for opening. A few minutes later, somebody arrived to open the restaurant and I asked...him if the restaurant will be opened today. He replied „maybe“ and disappeared which we already found very ridiculous. But maybe he didn’t understand English very well, so we waited a few minutes until the front door was open and asked again. He mumbled something in french while he prepared food. At this time it was already 6.50pm. Besides that, he was smoking while he prepared food/cooked which is a absolute no-go. The whole store smelled like smoke and is was just disgusting to see somebody smoking while he’s making your food. We decided to go somewhere else, so we can’t say much about the burgers itself, but we can’t recommend to go there considering what we experienced.More

Very good burgers, salads and nice servants. Small place on the corner of the street, so the restaurant is not romantic, however the food is worthwile

i had the lamb burger and it was delicious. My wife and son had cheeseburgers and the looked equally fine (and then equally gone!). Not the greatest place to sit and eat but I saw a lot of people taking food away. They also serve...cocktails. Drink up!More

This is a very small cafe at the beginning of town. It’s not quite on the beaten path but that’s what makes it perfect. This is casual fare. Hamburgers and fries. There are several varieties of burgers. Something for everyone if you’re looking burgers. In...fact, it’s a very very good burger. So good, that you should give it a try. This is not a restaurant. Do not expect restaurant services but do expect enough English to get the job done. Enjoy the open air, local constituents, and relaxed pace. The portion is hearty and you may not need dinner following your lunch. Being an American from Detroit and San Francisco I eat a lot of comfort food.....burgers. I suggest this is one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. I ate: steak aubrac fermier and added onions and sweet potato fries. I ordered it medium out of fear of eating rare ground meat. It was cooked through and delicious. It was not dry. The meat is imported from France and comes from an Angus steer, an Aubrec. The five stars are for the quality burger and the quaint, friendly atmosphere. I would eat here regularly. I stay on the island for a month each year and eat out a lot. Every age group will like Kaz a Pat and the burgers.More

Amazing burger shack in deshaies (only half the available rum options shown). Food is amazing. More importantly they are saving caribbean marine life by serving lionfish burgers - which are exceptionally yummy. The rum punch is great too.

A friendly welcome when we stopped to make a reservation, and upon arriving first thing Sunday evening (open at 19:00, not 18:30). They were out of a lot of stuff: kinds of burgers, toppings, sweet potato fries. The toppings for our medium burger arrived on...top of the well-done one, and vice versa. This is not Cheap Eats, either on its own merits or when compared to pizza, Stad Grill, any number of Creole places away from the center of town or even tapas at Mahina or Paradise. A burger place is a good idea for Deshaies. But this one can do a lot better. No restroom. Cash only.More

Burgers are very good and you definitely need to share a side of "patate douce" fries. Desserts are mainly ice creams from be. And Jerry's and you can skip it. Even if the tables are located by the road, it was quiet enough to enjoy...the meal. A good placeMore

We looked for something quick for lunch. This was a perfect combination of fast and down to earth and high quality food. We had fishnchips and two different tuna tartars. The tartar was worthy a fine dining restaurant, we had it by the sidewalk in...shorts and flip-flops. Highly recommend.More

Hungry after our morning dives, we went to Kaz a Pat to find out that he was about to close shop as he had to attend an emergency. But he welcomed us with a great smile and took our order for 5 and delivered great...quality! I recommend it, although be open to the fact that it may be closed, just come back later!More
