We had a great meal last night at this restaurant on the water. Good value for money and two of us had the menu du jour which was superb. The cat was annoying jumping up trying to grab the food though so suggest the owners make sure its not around when people eat!

This was recommended by our hosts locally and proved to be a good recommendation. Very friendly, wonderful fish and great view. You need to speak french though or just take a chance on the menu!

We ordered from the set menu, so we both had grilled langouste. It was good, but it took a while to receive our food, which was difficult with a toddler. At first, they didn't have a highchair for him (though it had been specified in our reservation that he would be with us).

Popular and busy. The food is adequate but nothing special. Chicken Colombo: two chicken wings and a small leg.

For our last dinner on Guadeloupe, we wanted good Creole cooking. We chose this restaurant after consulting with the owners of the B&B where we were staying. Like so many of the restaurants in Deshaies, it is right on the water and open to the air, so that dinner is accompanied by the sound of waves rolling in and out.... More

We stopped off here on our first day in deshaies - what an amazing view. The accras are great, the flambed banana is good with large quantities of rum. We would definitely go back.

We visited on a weekday evening and at first thought the restaurant was full. It certainly had a great location. A table was found for us. My wife did not feel like eating much and ordered only a 'Gratin Christophine', which was one of the optional starters in the daily 3-course menus. The internet tells me that the Christophine is... We had our first lunch here during our holidays in Guadeloupe. The service was fast and friendly (despite our bad French). The accras were delicious, as was the roast porc. The ti-punch was a bit strange but the local juice was very nice and rich.

This was our only bad dining experience on the island. The food was mush and inedible. We literally left full plates, paid the 50 euros and cut out losses.

My wife and I came here for drinks after fleeing the awful Le Madras down the street, and really enjoyed our meal. The staff was friendly and handled our poor French well, and the food was excellent.
