This restaurant is very central in a plaza and has a lovely terrace. The food is amazing (only local products), they served us very fast, the wine was also lovely and the hostess was very kind. Wonderful quality and for a very good price. I...would definitely recommend. Furthermore Its a woman cooperation to help women with low income so it supports a good cause.More

Whilst staying at the brilliant all inclusive Ikos Aria we took the opportunity of a day trip to Kos town and visited Aegli (Womens' Co-operative) Restaurant in the main square. We really enjoyed our visit as the restaurant serves authentic Greek food and I enjoyed...a brilliant prawn saganaki. We ordered two desserts, but should have just ordered one to share as they were so large! Do try this restaurant if you visit Kos town, you will not be disappointed.More

This restaurant is run as a social enterprise to help underpaid women. It is situated in the main square in the centre of town and serves mainly lunches and drinks. I ate a delicious tomato and cheese marmarites which is sort of like a cross...between a rosti and a pancake / crumpet. It was really good. Friendly service tooMore

We’ve only ever visited for drinks but always come a couple of times every time we are in Kos Town. There is a nice atmosphere in the square, good drinks, friendly staff, good prices, and I like the concept of the restaurant/bar. Great! :)

Stopped here for ice cream after dinner one night in Kos Town. The sundaes were beautiful, well presented and tasted amazing. The restaurant itself is in a really lovely location and is so warm and friendly. The staff are all so helpful and friendly its...so reasonably priced. The ethos of the business is also really positive. Its such a great little find.More

We had a variety of very nice traditional food, which was suprisingly cheap. Good portions and fresh food. The service was quick and very friendly. The ownership structure is also very nice, the workers own the place themselves collectively.

We were pleased to find this more authentic women’s cooperative restaurant right in the heart of the main square. The salads were delicious as was the yoghurt with plums, honey and almonds. The portions were large and the prices reasonable. Service excellent apart from problems...with the card machine.More

We visit this women cooperative cafe almost every year. Sometimes for a coffe, sometimes for an ouzo with meze and sometimes for dinner. Everything is good, and the staff is friendly and effective. This year we tried the shrimp saganaki which was delicious.

This square is the most central square in Kos town an ideal place to meet up. If meeting up with friends its easy to find even for first timers to Kos. Within area you are able to go to old town,harbour and castle in a...few minutes. If your early can have a coffee or beer at not bad prices.More
