We had a great time at tavern Kalymnos. And it should be noted as a great example of greek-tourism. We ate traditional greek food and you should definitely try their lobster. We recommend trying their wine as well. overall a very tastefull and pleasurable experience. We found it through their site. Godd experience overall.

We had a lovely, relaxing lunch at this friendly restaurant on the seafront. Delicious warm bread served with dishes of tapenade and garlic butter, a fresh tasty Greek salad with feta, followed by a very good Moussaka. Service was attentive but not hurried. Recommended

We came here under advisement of the hotel, but everything was just OK. One of our dishes, the grilled octopus, was extraordinarily salty and there was definitely an off clam in another dish. The cats were the biggest benefactors. Sadly, on a Greek island, there are likely much better places to get seafood.

We went in hoping to have a traditional fish supper. I wanted traditional moussaka. We got there early & were one of the first there. The service was very good, and you get the old boys flirting with you. They are very nice people. But....the food was dreadful. The moussaka has very little meat, the aubergines had seen better days... More

We went in to take some traditional greek dishes. Although it is located near the road they have some flowers decorating the place and was quite for lunch. The food was good, had traditional greek couisine, toilets where clean and the service excelent. We took a salad from the island, small fishes, a dush with a variety of things to... More

We tried this restaurant on the recommendation of a local when we were looking for something special to define the KOS experience. The menu is extensive, with many dishes that were new to me (Sea urchin soup, mussel pilau, loster spaghetti,). We dined outside and there was live music. Many people seemed to be returning and knew the owner. We... More
