Beautiful restaurant with a breathtaking terrace and view. The amount of tables allows the waiters to pay a lot of attention to all guests. Our waiter Petro(s) was really lovely and we had quite some fun talking to him. The guests were a mix of young Greeks and tourists, but it isn't the typical tourist trap. The place is tasteful and not "cheap" - we hope it stays this way. While you'd expect a higher price level, the food and drinks are very affordable and fresh.
My partner will never eat meat again without thinking about his ordered lamb "lofaki style" because it was so good (his words).
The housemade apple cake with ice cream was delicious! We really enjoyed our evening and would recommend Lofaki to everyone who wants to spend a quiet evening away from the noisy beach bars with some good food.

We visited Lofaki last night after getting married at this venue 3 years ago. We contacted the owner Manias and he also sorted out a transfer for us from our hotel and back again which was half the price quoted by another transfer company I had got a quote from and the transfer was a lovely VIP van. Manias had got us the best table right on the grass edge with the best views of the sunset and looking over to Bodrum but let me tell you there is no bad seat in this beautiful Restaurant everywhere you sit inside and outside you can see all the amazing views. I know a lot of people like to go to Zia to see the sunset and eat but it is so overcrowded there and this place is such a relaxed atmosphere with the tables spaced out well it really has that romantic classy feel to it and this is definitely the best choice. I have attached a photo from my wedding three years ago and one from last night so you can see the wonderful photo opportunities you can have just as the sun is setting. (Make sure you arrive for around 8pm to see the full sunset) When the sun has gone down there’s lovely ambient lightening and little lights on every table it really is such a special setting and you can watch the ferries and boats on the sea it’s truly special. Now onto the actual food and drink the prices are very very reasonable with the unique location and view. There is a huge choice of starters, mains and desserts to feed all taste buds and the food itself is absolutely fantastic quality. The staff are brilliant and cannot do enough to help you. Manias also treated us to a round of our drinks on the house to say thank you to us for coming back to visit his restaurant- where do you get that kind of hospitality- no thank you Manias for such a special evening! This is a must visit for your holiday to Kos and I promise you you will want to return before you go home as it is such a special place! I recommend for you to book so you are not disappointed but you can email or message the restaurant on Facebook they are very active and will get back to you ASAP. Thank you so much Manias and your staff you made our wedding so memorable three years ago and last night was also a very special evening. Every time we visit kos we will come and visit you without fail and dine in your special establishment. ♥️🇬🇷💒

Tucked away in the hills you’ll either need a taxi (about €10) or a car to get there, but it is well worth it.
We’d booked in advance, which is essential if you want an outdoor table with a view of the sunset (hint: you do).
The service was excellent, friendly and courteous - even offering to take photographs to help make the evening more memorable.
Food likewise was excellent, good portion sizes and cooked to perfection. There was something for all palates and although not cheap it was good value for money.
Looking over Kos Town and across the sea to Turkey the views are stunning and the sunset glorious.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Kos Town.

Lofaki is in a beautiful location overlooking Kos Town, a bit of a trip (we took our scooter but many people get a taxi) but we thought this would be worth it given the good reviews.
Well it is a lovely setting but the food is average at best and we certainly wouldn’t return.
Service is adequate although they rather forgot about is after serving our main. There was quite a wait between courses although this would be fine it it was a sign of dedication and care spent on the food which sadly I could see no evidence of.
Half a carafe of wine was 7 euros, more expensive than town but I appreciate that you are paying for the views and it was quite nice. Husband had prawns and I had octopus to start. Prawns were fine, octopus was cold although taste was fine. Main: husband had a steak which he enjoyed, I had king prawns which were overcooked and on the bitter side and came with what I can only describe as unfathomable black taziki, it was flavoured with squid ink and was both tasteless and resembled and oil slick on the plate. My dishes were ‘decorated’ with coloured rock salt which if you happened to taste destroyed the flavour of all other food on the plate.
Husbands dinner was better than mine hence three stars, I might have gone for two! Nice bread and dips to start but at 82 euros we felt it was overpriced given the absence of quality in the food, although it is a nice setting. They were busy but no more than you expect, and a restaurant of this nature should be able to cope!

Cannot believe this is rated so highly?!
To give this restaurant 1 out of 5 would only be thanks to an amazing view. We have eaten at fabulous restaurants in Kos for the last 10 days - Elia’s, Yargo’s and Barbouni’s to name but a few.
The food here was absolutely awful. We ordered the grilled halloumi which was barely warm, the meatballs which were dry and insipid.
We then waited an hour for our mains - one of which was the pork shank (recommended as a speciality) tasted saltier than the Aegean (and that’s coming from somebody that likes salt).
When we gave the shank back uneaten they were in no way apologetic. We asked for the bill and they brought it over and didn’t attempt to say goodbye or thank you.
The only thing to recommend about this ‘restaurant’ is the car park and the grass at sunset.

We got married at Lofaki in Sept 2018,ans retutned for the first time this August.
The service is the best I've ever had! Fron the booking, to Lofaki's team arranging a Taxi there, to the lovely lady behind the bar Irini, the professional and kind waiters, the amazing chefs, Manias Vasilis (owner) coming and greeting us personally, the cleanliness, and even arranging transport back to the hotel.
If you want to visit somewhere with perfecg food, service, drinks/cocktails and the most amazing views, please visit Lofaki. Its an experience you'll never forget.
If you are reading these reviews while considering getting married here, do not even debate it. DO IT! Every guest at our wedding said it was the best they've ever attended! Vasilis and his team organise the whole lot. Its honestly the most smooth wedding you can imagine. His team work so hard to make it perfect.
My wife and I first visited Lofaki summer 2016 for a meal. We never spoke about getting married, but when we got engaged in September 2017,we both said along the lines "I want to get married at Lofaki". I think we were both shocked that we said Lofaki, and never had mentioned it before. We got in touch with Vasilis the night we engaged, and a year later we were married.
Please, if you want to get married in Kos, dont do it through travel companies such as TUI. They tell you to get married in Greece you need to be there for a minimum of 7 days(thus getting you to book a 2 week holiday). Just contact Lofaki directly. Vasilis will point you in the right direction with the best advice possible.
Thank you Lofaki for the amazing memories on all 3 visits. You really are the best.
Diolch.

Went up on a moped for lunch and we were the only couple there. View during the day is still stunning. The waitress was excellent and we had the mixed meat platter for two (€28) which was huge and really good quality. Highly recommended.

Restaurant arranged the taxi for 30 euros return trip a luxury Mercedes Benz people carried so evening started off with high exlectations. Greeted by staff on arrival and we were sat on the terrace outside but it was quite breezy and having reflected would have sat inside. Wine excellent along with service and their beef steaks were brilliant I had the black Angus ribeye however the peppercorn sauce wasn't to my liking as I prefer cream and brandy and this was a stock based sauce. Dessert choice for me was unusual as I went for the tomato and ice cream yes that's right a candied tomato with vanilla ice cream and it was a taste sensation. Will return here again when in Kos as it is a special treat.

We visited earlier this month on recommendation and very glad we did. The drive up the hill is scenic and well worth it for the views, stunning view across Kos and of Turkey. I had been in touch with Vasilis the owner before travelling who I had pre-arranged a bottle of fizz. The food was of very good quality and good value, we were even treated to a cocktail each with sparklers at the end of a lovely evening. Highly recommend, Vasilis and his team run a great place and if we are back on Kos I would visits again!

My partner surprised me with this visit and it did not disappoint.
The restaurant offered a paid transfer to and from our hotel that was met with a small Mercedes minibus which cost 50€ for both ways as we were on the other side of the island. Upon arriving, we were taken to our table which was set just outside the general seating area on the grass lawns over looking Kos town. The views at sunset were stunning. If you are worried about the chill in the air, comfy blankets are provided to help keep you warm.
The staff were friendly and attentive by checking on us at regular intervals. They also offered to take pictures of us at our table and in front of the lovely views. The whole team really made the experience special.
The food was well priced, well presented and most importantly, extremely tasty. We had an assortment of starters and a “meat for 2” platter which had an assortment of meats, chips and sauces all cooked to perfection. The desserts were also amazing.
The team, food and overall experience made the holiday extra special and absolutely recommend this as a must when visiting Kos.

A stunning place in the hills to have a birthday meal with my partner and friends.
Having arranged to meet up with friends we were recommended Lofaki by our hotel. Wow, what a recommendation. A 15 minute drive up from Kos Town up some narrow roads brought us to what, at first glance, looked like a bland restaurant. However, just around the corner was the garden (dining area) and the most wonderful views of Kos and Turkey revealed themselves.
The food was impeccable, the Octopus with puree was stunning as a starter. 3 of us had fillet Steak, which was perfectly cooked and the Service was sublime, so attentive.
The wine list was excellent as well and we all enjoyed some Greek wine (not Retsina) for the first time.
As a nice touch, the waiter brought out a bottle of bubbles and some sparklers for my birthday!
All in all a very special evening indeed.

We visited Lofaki upon recommendation and its easily the best located restaurant we have visited in our lives! Absolutely stunning views of the coastline, the bay, Turkey and the amazing sunset!
We were offered return transport from our hotel by the owner Vasilis, and at 30 euros we felt this was good value. Friendly driver and modern Mercedes minibus all to ourselves!
On arrival, the view of the bay took our breath away, incredible! Just in time for sunset which was the best we have ever seen.
The food was excellent, our server whose name annoyingly we can't remember was so friendly helpful and courteous (male)
There was soft music playing in a wonderful garden setting. Just outstanding.
If going to Kos please go here, you won't regret it!
Thank you Vasilis for an amazing evening and experience!

What a special place this was. From start to finish we had an amazing experience, the view was just beautiful, food was excellent and so was the service and of course the most gorgeous sunset! I emailed the restaurant prior to our holiday after reading recommendations, we were looking for a special treat while on Kos. I emailed the restaurant to book and also asked them about taxis etc they were so helpful and organised this for us, we were picked up at 7.20pm and we left at 11pm. There was also a wedding inside the restaurant so music was played later in the evening which was an added bonus and would have maybe stayed longer if taxi wasn’t waiting. Overall we had an amazing evening and would definitely recommend this place for a lovely treat, I’ll certainly come back next time I’m on Kos thats for sure. Thank you Lofaki ❤️

The food was amazing could not recommended enough! We enjoyed the mixed grill for two, plenty of food all cooked to a good standard and food portion size. For pudding we had chocolate soufflé this was to die for! The view speaks for itself, very picturesque. The service was also of top quality when the night drawn in and became cold they were kind enough to offer blankets and also call us a taxi when we were ready to leave
Thank you for your service

Was looking forward to visiting this restaurant on our lastnight of holiday based on photos of the views and food reviews. We chose to have the restaurant shuttle service, which was 30 mins late with no apology. Upon arrival we were shown to our table, but asked if we could move to a better table in garden with better views etc. we were told no as all fully booked - this was a lie as still multiple tables free an hour or so later. We later learnt from another couple staying at our hotel that they had to pay €20 for one. We would have paid this had the manager actually bothered to explain.
Our starters arrived but we were now being pestered by wasps swarming our table. The waiter came over and took our food away stating they were a nuisance at this time of night and he would bring our food back in a few mins once they had gone away. This he did about 30 mins later but my meatballs were now really dry and ruined. Main courses were average, with the ravioli being the worse with the pasta all stuck together and stodgy.
The worst thing about the evening by far was the poor service. We actually asked for the bill 5 times at the end of the evening! The manager was very stand off ish throughout the evening which left a bad taste.
We are both really surprised at the number of 5 star reviews - maybe it was just a combination of issues that ruined our evening and unlucky on the night. There was a large table of 8/10 people next to ours and so maybe giving them more attention. We do agree with the views, which are superb, and it’s only for this reason I have given 3 stars as food and service not up to scratch.
