We were the first customers to arrive for lunch on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, and were served by a very charming man who gently pushed us to order more than we had planned, but we were pleased with the outcome. We split an AMAZING ravioli dish with a seafood sauce (clams, we think), more than plenty for the two of... More

This is one of those great traditional Italian restaurants with no fuss. They cook with pride, serve with pride and advise you with authority. Do not try to eat the pasta as a main dish, the waiter will talk you out of it. Just trust him in his advice but order little, as portions are huge. A rewarding food experience.... More

One of the greatest eating experiences ever. All people in the restaurant looked very happy enjoying their extremely delicious food served by people who like to make other people a bit happier.

We were recommended this restaurant by local hotel staff, and kept trying to get a table on the night, but they were always fully booked (and seem to slightly revel in their "we are so good and popular" status). So we booked in advance for our last evening, and even though we arrived before any other diners, faces were pulled... More

The food was good, and the owner (and chef) was really friendly. Helped us pick a good meal. The food was good, but not more than that - which is why I give this place a 4 stars. We ordered fried seafood, which was a bit too much fried stuff - resulted in not eating everything. But the spaghetti with... More

the best restaurant in Tellaro. The boss is a very inspiring person. Let him advise you but remember that the pasta portions are hughe. The fish is fresh and well prepared. The wine list is ok. The housewine is good. Without reservation they managed to squize us in. Tourists are welcome but most of the customers are locals

I was traveling alone for a couple of weeks and decided to stop in the beautiful town of Tellaro to enjoy the ocean. The first night I was there I got in late and I stopped here as the hotel (Hotel il Nido) recommended it. Even though they were on the verge of closing for the evening, they did not... More

When we visited to reserve a table for the evening, the owner was incredibly friendly, as mentioned in other reviews, and we looked forward to an evening of excellent hospitality and delicious food. However, we were not alone when after arriving we had to wait a long time to get water/wine and then to lace our order for food. The... More
