I’ve had a couple of bad experiences at the Deerhound, mainly around service, and have heard of others having similar experiences. Personally I would give it a miss, and would not choose to go there myself.

We arrived without booking and had an enjoyable evening meal with good food and service.We tried to do the same on another evening but the restaurant was absolutely full (on Wednesdays they have an "indulgence" evening which is pretty well always booked up.
