Read about it as one of the things to do and went looking for it. I imagined a bun with a pork slice, with some kind of jus. It was tasty. But I think I imagined it with some sort of relish to go with...More

I first heard of Tai Lei Loi Kei from their Singapore branch at Nex. Although it may not have been as good as the one I tried in macau, it left a good impression. Thus when I went to macau, I definitely have to try...More

Tried the pork bun (bread) in their Venetian branch. The bread was crusty, with margarine I think. I find the pork too salty for my liking.

I disagree with anyone that says the pork bun is "overhyped". It's a pork bun! Not a Michelin dining experience! In any case, if you visit Macao, you will probably go to Taipa. Try the pork bun! You will be glad you did! I thought...More

The pork bun is a signature food at Taipa. The meat tasted just right - not too oily or salty and the bun tasted the best when it was warm. However, it is rather expensive at MOP48 and the outlet which I have bought from...More
