Great service, good decor and service always superb. Whenever you get a chance to see Antonio walk by, he's always friendly and cheerful and takes great pride in his many awards which you can see neatly framed and pinned onto the walls. Easily the best place to visit in Old Taipa Village, excellent for romantic night out.

Walked in at 5:30 without a reservation on a Sunday. Place was full by 6:15. Seemed like a pretty local crowd, but knowledgeable about food and wine. Wife and I split octopus starter, seafood soup, African chicken, puréed spinach. All were good or better than good. High quality, and made with care. Loved the octopus. Good service - relaxed and... Went there during Chinese New Year 2017 with a total party of 6. We popped in by accident as we navigated around. We did not hold much expectation as Portuguese food has never been our preferred option; yet kids were starving. waiter/ress was responsive and provided good recommendation. among all dishes, we loved the seafood rise and the clam in... Unfortunately this restaurants falls below expectations. The goat cheese and acacia honey appetiser was very good, and the best thing we had at Antonio's. The main courses we had, Portugese Steak and Afrikan Chicken were average at best. The steak was chewy and the chicken overcooked, with coconut sauce slapped on to give it some flavour. We ordered a side... More

Went there after reading all the reviews online. Not too hard to find, I think most of the locals know Antonio. The restaurant is quite small, on 2 (or 3) levels, can I say a bit cramped? Went there for the experience, well was it an experience to remember? Hmm, sorry to say that for the price paid the food... More

It was recommended by a bar tender at Bar Azul when we spoke of our desire to try out some authentic Portuguese food. Choice was between fernando at Hac Sa beech or Antonio which was near by... am glad we chose Antonio. After a short walk in narrow lanes we reached the place and it was smaller then we expected.... Special birthday celebration in the wine cellar a few streets away from the main Antonio restaurant. Entertaining evening with a great selection of Portuguese and Macanese delights. Antonio is a lovely man, great to talk to. Many stories from his days stationed in Macau as a Portuguese sailor 50 years ago

Lot of peoples maybe impressed by the numbers of award that Antonio had from the outdoor wall or state clearly in the menu. Wide range of food selection but EXPENSIVE. Order a signature starter with small peace of Bread with some goat cheese on top and honey for $200 plus 10%, it doesn't worth for me. And Duck Rice is... More

Came hear looking to escape Cotai strip and find decent Portuguese food. Wasn't disappointed at all. The food was delicious including the African Chicken and lamb rack. Washed down with a great Sangria. We were also treated to a complimentary glass of port. Definitely not complaining! We also had the cheese platter which had a great quince jelly with 4... More
