We ordered a seafood rice antonio style (stew pot) and garlic stewed clams both of which were excellent. Black pork steak was disappointing. Good wine. They gave us dessert wine on the house which was also very good. Definitely pricey but worth a try if you're visiting Macau.

Food was ok, at most. We ordered the Baluch pig, which was ok. The fries that came with it were one of the worst I had in a long time. We also ordered the sardines. They didn't feel fresh. The dish came with plane poached potatoes. For the price they came I expected a little more. Service of fine. I... More

We were so excited for our trip to Antonio, based on positive reviews here and elsewhere. Unfortunately, we had a rough experience from start to finish. Service was basically polite but not friendly or warm, and was also slow and awkward, although there were almost as many servers as patrons. We ordered the goat cheese appetizer which was fine, but... More

A group of us went here for dinner and we were all reasonably happy with both the variety and quality of the food. The goat cheese appetizer was delicious but the sausage that is cooked in front of you on an open flame was a bit tough (still tasted ok). The service wasn't up to par with the food -... More

I had always wanted to try some genuine Portuguese food in Macao and after some research , this place came up. The olives and bread were served before the food. Bread was so so but olives were delicious. We ordered some home made sausage and Portuguese ham; quite nice. Then we went for grilled Black pork. This was so tough,... More

I went there tonight with my family. We sat in the basement. When we arrived to our table, we wanted to move one more chair to the inner seating as we have a 2 year old baby. So that we can sit in between the kid. The two servants were very ignorant and said no. Very family unfriendly. Then when... More

We went to Antonio's on a whim. We wanted to go and try another popular Portuguese restaurant in the neighborhood but it was fully booked. Walked around and saw the Michelin style and was lucky enough to be accommodated. We ordered a rabbit dish and baccalao. But dishes were richly flavored -- meaning a bit salty for my taste but... Lovely place in Taipa next to all the shops selling local produces. This area used to be very popular until all the new hotels were built. We ordered the typical Portuguese foot like octopus salad, sausages and cheese for starter, then the seafood rice, chicken, fish and pork. The food is really nice and the service is good. It was... This was a quick pit stop for a day trip to Macau and to feast on Portuguese cuisine . We had the blackened chicken which was delicious . Chef Antonio himself greeted us as we had an early dinner before taking the ferry back to Hong Kong . I highly recommend those looking to treat yourself . The famous dessert... More

The whole service is very pleasant, smiling and prepared, they made our dinner nice. Even the atmosphere is quite warm and cozy. In my personal opinion Antonio should come back to kitchen to refresh to his chefs how to cook well Portuguese food, at least if he wants to continue having Western visitors to his restaurant.
