Macau has an endless list of Portuguese restaurants to chose from, some are hit and miss, but there is a list of about 5 really good ones, Antonios is on that list. Authentic, passionate honest food, from the heart. Tasty, well presented with all the classics to offer like the clams, grilled chicken, chorizo etc. tucked away in a little... More

Atmosphere is warm and cozy. Lisbon-style food is good and a nice selection of wines too. Portions tend to be large so careful with over-ordering. Paella was delicious, and the african chicken too. Was not too impressed with the bacalau (codfish), found it very dry. Staff is very helpful and responsive. Overall a good dinner. will visit again when I... More

Was looking forward to coming back here. Lucky I booked a table as the place was packed on sat night. Unfortunately not very family friendly no child seats! We had African chicken abit dry! Soggy fries and 2 desserts. The food came out so fast I assume it was all prepared way in advance. The complimentary port was a nice... More

Great little restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well worth a visit and it deserves the mountains of awards it had received. Two unique dishes we were recommended were the goats cheese with honey and a codfish dish with crispy potatoes on top ( I can't remember the name of the dish) both were awesome. We also had the clams,... More

My friend recommended this place for my girl friend and I. We started off with the ham & sausage followed by the white wine clams which I highly recommended. The flavour of the clams were great and i had to dipped my bread with the white whine sauces. It was so yummy. At the end, we finished off with African... More

I visited Antonio's restaurant last weekend and was very pleased with the food and the service. Situated in old Taipa village Antonio's is a Michelin recommended top quality restaurant that should be on everybodies "must visit" list for Macau. It's a truly Portuguese treat, excellent service and quality. I recommend the chorizo sausage (they put it on fire right infront... More

We were looking forward to a great Saturday evening out at Antonios. The food, as expected, was very good. Our favourite dish was the Afrikan chicken. However, the service was well below our expectations. It took close to 15 mins to put in a drink order, and the servers were not engaging or friendly. They offered no suggestions from the... More

Great food and atmosphere. Service is superb. Happy that we passed by and had a great lunch. The clam starter is excellent, and the sausage was great in both presentation and taste. Prices on the high end but glad to try it out.

We stumbled upon Antonio while walking around the Taipa Old Village, hungry and realizing that most places were closed (2pm onwards), we were worried that Macau practiced the European ways of siesta. Noticing the numerous award plaques outside of Antonio, we were more concerned about the price point. However, upon glancing at the menu, we compromised with forgoing the fancy... More

Nestled in an alley in a pleasant section of Taipa, this place serves very good Portuguese food. Service was great, seating available on multiple levels. We enjoyed our experience and able to be seated with a reservation. We thought the food was superior, but there are other less sophisticated spots nearby which might present a better value for similar fare.
