This cafe is lovely and the food is great. The egg custard tarts are amazing. Erwin was a great staff member and was very friendly and helpful. We went here twice and really enjoyed it. We will be returning!

The food was great! Egg tarts were highly recommended before we went, and exceeded my expectations. Also, for a place that seemed very busy when we arrived, the staff were very friendly, and the food came very quickly. Loved it!

The issue with Portuguese Egg Tarts in the US is that they often make them way too sweet. As a Chinese-American, when I tried my first Portuguese Egg tart in Macau, I was expected another sugary egg tart. I was quickly proven wrong upon my first bite. The tart was AMAZING. Just the right amount of sugar with a very... More

I can easily consume a dozen of these. The pastry is flaky and the custard is just right. May be they tried to meet local taste but definitely not as sweet as back in Lisbon, though it is still sweeter than the other nata from Some Chinese shops. Wish they can share the recipe

If you can get to Coloane, it's worth going just for the egg tarts which are truly delicious. Their reputation is well earned. Two points:- 1) The front has a take-away - the cafe is around the back of the building and offers a good selection of well-prepared food and drinks. 2) If you buy egg tarts to take out,... More

Went to Coloane specifically to try this place. I ordered the Macanese Capela which is meat loaf, salad, and baked(?) potato with cheese. The food is good, with the serving good for two people already. My girlfriend ordered the mango cheesecake which she enjoyed. Staff is also very nice and attentive. Will visit this cafe again when I'm in the... More

It's been years since I've been back to this bakery. Somehow I've managed to get these delicious eggs tarts consistently without ever having to physically go to the show simply because it's such a big tourist attraction, people always buy plenty to take away. My actual recent visit wasn't great. The egg tarts were fine but definitely not fresh. Saying... More
