We might not have ordered well but felt the food wasn't anything special. Had the 2 signature dishes - the Pigeon and the African Chicken. Both dishes average. Definitely not Wow!

I had last been here in 1979, and was surprised to see the same maitre d' welcome me to the restaurant. It is a smallish place, but the food is of a very high quality. The greeting was very pleasant, and we were shown to our table by a very polite, and attentive waitress who was excellent throughout our entire... More

We ordered three dishes : the famous roast pigeon, vegetables with cod fish and grilled king prawns. The prawns were great, nicely cooked, juicy and tasty. The roast pigeon is nice too though I thought the meat was too dry. The vegetable dish was a disappointment as we found it too salty. We later learnt that this was because salted... More

Both my husband and I had dined here with our parents when we were in our teens while living in Hong Kong 40 yrs ago. We went to the original restaurant but we cannot remember if it's the same location. We came for lunch, quiet about 3 tables on the main floor, good ambiance. We ordered the stuffed roasted chicken... More

This restaurant has a very good ambience. The service of the staff was very good. But above all, we like the food the most, especially the Portuguese Fried Rice and Roast Chicken.

Pretty average fusion of Portuguese and Macanese food. The quality and flavours do not live up to the prices. The caldo verde was decent. The pastéis do bacalhau were crispy and had a good amount of fish but lacked the extra herbs and onion to make it balanced and tasty. The baked seafood rice of the house was ok, but... More

Price quite expensive compare other Portuguese Restaurant but worth for it as the services provided was great and cheerful. Foods just normal dishes but do well. The environment was okay. If you here to try the Souffle please order first once you enter the restaurant or else you will have to wait 30 to 45 min. Must try the Souffle.

Fascinating Chinese cooking Portugese food. Old school, old staff. Seems people never leave here. Still great tasting African chicken and the house pigeon.

This restaurant, actually number 2 in the group of 3 in Macao, is an outstanding experience not to be missed. It was founded in 1903 by Wong Man Sing and has continued in the family for generations, so it is a part of Macao's history. One of the waiters is a charming gentleman who is 80 years old and has...
