The food is very mediocre and not fresh. The clams came out 1 minute after ordering them and was very Asia style in a coriander broth. It tasty ok but nothing special. The grilled sardines were not fresh at all, very "fishy" and hadn't been cleaned properly. Beef croquettes were inedible. Tasted like they had been in the freezer for... More

A Lorcha was a great meal. There is nothing fancy or pretentious about it. Just a simple family restaurant with great food and generous portions. If this place were near me in the US, not only would I go there often, but I'd be telling all my friends to try it.

I discovered this restaurant last year (went there for dinner), and this year I went back for lunch. The reservation in not compulsory but actually needed in order to avoid waiting outside, especially for dinner (at lunch we arrived at 14:00 without reservation and we were accommodated in 10 minutes). The atmosphere is cosy and informal. The food is very... More

Tucked away in the old town, this restaurant has great authentic Portuguese food. The service is second to none. The décor/ambience is well suited to the cuisine. Highly recommend the minced beef croquettes, Portuguese dried cod cakes and the Portuguese fried rice. Queues can be extensive so would book before going.

After a long and very hot walk around Macau trying to find an authentic Portuguese restaurant we came across A Lorcha (with the assistance of a local!). We were lucky to get a table without a reservation and the food and service did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and really helpful with both food and wine selection (none of... More

Old school Portuguese restaurant swarmed by tourists. Need to book ahead. Food not bad and good value for money. I am sure there are better local restaurants, but this has stood the test of time and isn't bad. Good and friend service.

Excellent food with a good wine selection to complement. Great desserts too. Try the tiger prawns, they are fabulous! My mouth is watering just writing this review. Per person you end up paying MOP 200-250

We had lunch at this lovely restaurant. We didn't make any reservation, therefore we had to wait for an hour but it's worthy. The A-Ma Temple is nearby this restaurant. You can spend an hour easily at the temple. The servers were confident and helpful. This restaurant really brings back our memory of our last summer in Porto. If you... More

I was fortunate enough to get a seating on short notice. Dinning at this restaurant was truly the high light of my food tour of Macau.

We've been there 10 years ago during our 1st trip in Macau. This place was already considered and the quality didn't change !! We shared a delicious seafood soup, cod fish croquettes, a bacalhau gratin ( salted Portuguese cod fish ) and a rice cooked in a pot with seafood ! Great, very fresh and delicious ! We recommend also... More
