Enjoyed our meal

Having read previous posts we made a booking and had an early sitting at 6:30 opening time. There was a small crowd waiting to enter when the doors opened. Everyone was seated and attended to very promptly. Wait staff friendly and atmosphere nice. We only ordered the Portuguese fried rice and some... read more

Was introduced to the restaurant by the hotel as it is one of the popular eateries for Portuguese food in Macau. The place was crowded but we were able to get a table quite quickly for 2 persons. The staff was very helpful and friendly - suggested couple of dishes to order, also some to avoid. Food was ok but... More

Booking is required and was told that I have to complete before next time segment. It was a Saturday night and places was full house. Not a very big restaurant but the serving was fast. Tried the clam, seafood rice (in a pot) and cod fish cake. Pricing relatively expensive compare to a meal in the eating place few store... More

I visited for dinner in December. It is a fairly large, rustic restaurant located on the old side of Macau. Very easy to locate as it is around the corner from the A-Ma Temple. The taxi drivers all know where it is. We ordered three dishes: clams, octopus rice and salted cod. The clams were fantastic - but make sure... More

we had booked A Lorcha a month earlier for December 30th (as we were 10 people). after the entire day of city sightseeing and the skywalk at macau tower, we were hungry and cold. we had to wait an extra half hour for our table. the restaurant was busy, and we saw many clients being refused as they had no... We have been returning to A Lorcha since we lived in Macau 15 years ago. We are never ever disappointed with the excellent Macanese food quality, the warm and friendly service and the very affordable prices. The food is tasty, very fresh and with good sized family portions. It is a very busy restaurant with several seating each evening so... More

My husband and I had lunch in this restaurant on Christmas eve. We were really blessed as we got there early. It was VERY crowded! We ordered mixed seafood rice Portuguese style and African chicken. We also had some nice croquettes. To wash it all down, we had Sangria. Excellent food!

We tried Portuguese style chicken, seafood braise rice, clam and Shangria. All yummy. And we finish eating the big portion foods. Strong recommend.

This place is advertised as one of the best places for Portuguese food in Macau. Sadly our experience was the opposite. Yes, the staff were friendly and service good, but the food was simply poor. Seafood soup tasted like it came out of a tin! Little actual seafood pieces in it, under seasoned. The portuguese lamb stew, best bits were... More

Really delicious. The service is good, we haven't made booking but they tried the best to arrange a table for us. The portion is big enough for three, so we couldn't order more .
