Macau has better and cheaper Portuguese/Macanese Restaurants to offer. If you really like to try others try Alberque 1601, Miramar or many other small Restaurants scattered around old Macau town.

The suckling pig and garlic shrimp are great. For dessert, order the pudding and donuts. Avoid the fried rice - tasty as it was, we found ourselves crunching down on chunks of undissolved MSG salt with every mouthful of rice we ate. Service was not fantastic and we had the misfortune of being served by a grumpy-looking waitress who was... More

This Used to be the restaurant to go to and a must go for Portugal food. But since the cooking standards had dropped quite a fair bit in the passed few years. Nevertheless, the food still taste good but don't expect a 5 stars service anymore.

Macau brings out the old fogey in me. It has changed so hideously over the years -- Venetian gondolas, replica Eiffel Tower, traffic jams -- it is reassuring to go somewhere that is still popular with locals and visitors, but you aren't edged out by tour groups. The food really is good, the service friendly but not obsequious, and the... More

Food will not disappoint, but like everywhere on Sunday afternoon, service was slow. Still going back, CASH ONLY! Expect a 3hr. lunch.

Very good and tasty Portuguese dishes. The grill fish, tomato Salad, and the bread are all highly recommended..

Not been for ages and it was well worth going back. Amongst all the glitz and falsity of the Cotai Strip Fernandos is refreshingly rustic and the food is wonderful.

Always heard great things about this place and finally went and what a let down! All the food was over cooked and dry. The chips felt like they had been cooked several times. There is no aircon and in 30 degree heat eating in doors was not a very enjoyable experience. Not sure what we missed but I would not... More

I finally managed to visit the famous Fernando's. To be honest - it isn't quite what it was hyped to be. I enjoyed the meal, but it wasn't mouthwateringly amazing that i'd return just for the food; Macau has other excellent Portuguese/Macanese restaurants too, many more conveniently in town, or even Miramar just down the road (15mins walk away). However,... More

if you're looking for an offbeat macau experience, a glimpse of "country, Portuguese style" you might find Fernando's perfect for your friends' gathering, corporate outing, couple's or family bonding, in short fit for all! limited menu but satisfying, consistent. Don't miss the sangria!!
