We spent 5 nights on the Norrh Side and kept coming back to this restaurant. From the sangria pitcher with fresh fruit to the rum soaked fried pineapple with fresh ice cream. Amazing tacos and chicken kibobs. Beautiful sunset dining with tables or beanbag. Staff...is super friendly!!More

We loved the food here. We went many times while we were in Gili T for 2 weeks. The food was delicious and the cocktails were also great! Friendly and helpful staff too and great little quiet spot on the beach.

The place is very good and the food amazing, and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Unfortunately I have to highlight that every place in Gili Islands is also responsible for the severe animal abuse reserved to horses that, in this island, are used as the...only method of transport and work in indescribable bad conditions. Their location is pretty far from the port, so if you go there you’re forced to walk for 35 minutes, sometimes with luggage or under the heavy sun, or use these terrible horses-drawn-carts. Please don’t 🙏🏻 And report the situation.More

I was very excited to see that this restaurant served vegan en vegetarian options as I am vegetarian. The service of the staff was great and we were treated kindly. I thoroughly enjoyed the tapas that I got. My partner ordered two meals as the...portion sizes aren’t big enough. The quality of the food is great though!More

This was our first restaurant we ate at during our time on Gili T. We’ve now eaten there twice and are going back for a third time tomorrow! The shredded chicken tacos were fantastic and there vegetable curry was the best my fiancé said he’s...ever had. I personally never ate curry before until I tried his and it was absolutely amazing! We are going back tomorrow so I can have a whole plate of the curry for myself! The staff are so nice, but service is a bit slow but that’s with everywhere when you’re on an island because it’s island time. I’d recommend this place to anyone and the views are fantastic. Also well shaded with the trees and the water isn’t as busy with boats so you can enjoy the peacefulness of this side of the island!More

Very bad experience with the owner of this restaurant. Long story short: I originally ordered a vegetarian jackfruit taco, but they mistakenly served me a chicken taco instead. Mistakes happen, and I politely got up and approached the waiter to confirm if it was actually...a vegetarian dish since everyone at my table tasted meat in it. The restaurant owner, an expat, promptly came over to personally check with the kitchen, which initially seemed professional. Within a minute, she came to my table and admitted the mistake, offering to clean the plate and get me a new taco. I declined, explaining that I felt a bit nauseous now that I’ve eaten meat and decided not to eat anything but that it was fine. She must have felt offended or overprotective for the staff and responded something like “Come on DUDE, It’s Indonesia, mistakes happen. It’s only a piece of chicken, it’s not gonna kill you” in a very condescendant manner. I’ve travelled in the Sunda Islands for months and I never had this kind of remarks or discussion with a restaurant owner. She truly lacks of empathy which is one of the principle of Indonesian culture. I love Indonesia, but expats like this really discredit the Indonesians that work hard on making you feel welcomed. To be honest, that was a sincere mistake, it happens: jackfruit and chicken do look and taste alike. I don’t blame AT ALL the Indonesian staff. They were amazing and even came to apologize after the incident with their boss. I made it clear to them that I didn't hold them responsible and genuinely appreciated their apology. The bill reflected this with a 10% discount, and the cost of the taco was removed, which I found acceptable. However, I cannot excuse the owner's attitude. The other customers nearby came to us and pointed the fact that the owner was way out of line and that it was very not empathetic. For the record, the restaurant brand itself as vegan/vegetarian friendly with a dedicated menu and a huge vegan sign by the terrace. Tips to the owner, feel humbled to have the chance to work in paradise and share the Indonesian kindness you must have grown, with your customers. All we felt towards you was business opportunism. This review is posted on various platforms to provide a broader audience with the experience.More

We went here one of our first night’s in Gili T and were not disappointed. We had seen it was on a lot of ‘must eat’ lists for Gili T. The food was delicious and the setting down near the water was very picturesque. We...were lucky enough to see a few turtles poke their head up near by! Both their Indonesian and non-Indonesian food was fantastic. I also wanted to make special mention to the wonderful staff who were so kind and playful with our 1.5 year old. Archie was even gifted an origami bird which he loved! Would definitely go back!More
