Fresh and strong coffee with wonderful side orders. Cakes, pastries, salads and fruit bowls. Loved the friendly and helpful service. Warmly recommend.

Banyan Tree has the BEST coconut curry dish. It's mixed with delicious rice & veggies, and it was a perfect snack in between scuba diving! The atmosphere is trendy, you can hang out on the beach or inside and enjoy all their fresh foods choices!...We liked it so much we had to grab some to go for our boat ride back to Bali. We're excited to return!More

Had both breakfast and lunch here during our 3 day stay in gili t. Menu is great, lots of variety. Food was delicious and good value for money. Very hard working staff, we arrived in with our backpacks before leaving the island, our waiter Amar...noticed we were on our way to catch the boat and took our order and had our food to us within 5 minutes (while also serving 9 other tables). Very impressed with his service, his hard work is evident and deserves credit! Thanks Amar!More

We stopped into Banyan Tree because the pictures on TripAdvisor looked great. Upon entering the restaurant it was muggy which led us to think twice about spending a hot afternoon having lunch, as the doors downstairs were closed and there wasn’t AC. We decided to...come back later in the evening for dessert because they have some delicious looking options. I was excited to see a caramel brownie but it was highly disappointing. It was amazingly dry. I had two bites before I gave up. I’m not sure if this was a one off or if the recipe needs some work.More

Hi Davlin, Sincerest apologies for your experience here at The Banyan Tree. Unfortunately between the heat wave and doors consistently opening and closing it makes it extremely hard for our air conditioners to keep up with the demand. We try to encourage people to enjoy...More

Healthy food, colourful and vibrant. Veggie and vegan too. Always busy, a popular spot to go. The service is really slow sometimes and I have found, more often than not, that the staff can be a little pretentious. Which is a shame as occasionally there...are one or two of them that really try and the others are just letting them down. WiFi is a bit weak.More

We came here about 5-6 times over our stay. Some things were great some things were just okay. The gluten free brownies were pretty yummy! & the 3 layered Heaven smoothie was DELICIOUS! The vegan cake cups or Christmas cake/ carrot cake were not good...at all. Sometimes the staff was very nice & some times we felt like they were a bit rude. One thing that was frustrating was that I explained I was allergic to pineapple... so I ordered a smoothie bowl and said but no pineapple multiple times and she even repeated no pineapple when she repeated our order. She then came back and said they can’t do it & quickly left before I could say I’d like a menu to pick something else. Then she came back quickly sat down my boyfriends food and I waited for her to come back. She then brought my smoothie bowl after my boyfriend wAs already done eating and said here is your smoothie bowl but it has pineapple cus they couldn’t do without. When I said I can’t have that and I’d like to order something else she acted like I was an idiot and that I was going to keep that bowl and pay for it in addition to ordering something else. It was really frustrating & I get there was a language barrier but everyone around us heard what was going on and agreed it was odd she even brought it because it was pretty clear she understood I couldn’t have pineapple. Another thing is the smoothie bowls are in a cool glass bowl/jar but lack any toppings. They’re just for decorations. After the allergy thing I was thrown off and we only came back for baked goods.More

Had a Buddha bowl and miso udon. The bowl was great but udon was too salty and didn't even use udon. They used rice noodle instead. Was fine but became a mismatch to the menu.
