An amazing location for good traditional dishes. Nothing modern or extravagant, it is just a pure traditional menu. Average quality with an amazing location, good prices that are not expensive.

I almost don't want to write this review because this place should be kept a secret. Yet, at the same time, I want Angela and her family to continuously serve their magnificent meals. This place is IMPOSSIBLE to find. Google maps will get you there to a certain point...but beyond that I can only recommend that you brush up on... More
Authentic Italian family cooking at it's best! This family run restaurant is situated on the side of a mountain at a small family farm. It's a small walk through the countryside but this just adds to the feeling of remoteness. The family are extremely welcoming and the food is amazing! Make sure you go hungry as they don't hold back... More
Absolutely amazing - a must place to visit!! But be warned... its nearly impossible to find! The address is an approximation, there are no signs or directions! In fact its so secretive that even when you arrive there is no name, no menu, no prices and barely any information on their website. But those who are persistent you will meet... More
Luckily our taxi driver knew where the restaurant was when we handed him the address. He immediately started to say that he would only be able to drive so far and the rest we would have to walk. It is about a 15 minute walk from the taxi drop off point up steep steps so be prepared. There are no... More
Firstly you do need to plan to get here. If you can book ahead then ordering a taxi to get you from the train or ferry is highly recommended - but that just adds to the charm. The view while eating is down the valley and overlooking the lake. We were there on a beautiful day and it was magical.... More
The most amazing place with spectacular views and the kindest sweetest family you'll ever meet when you make it up the track ... There are no signs and it's all a bit of a mystery but somehow people manage to find it ... Make sure your phone is charged cause you'll need the torch walking down the steep path in... More
My girlfriend told me "I've booked a local place for lunch, but we need to get a cab to the top of the village, then hike up a trail for 10+ minutes", not a good start for me. On the day, I put on a brave face and up we went. Even the local cabbie couldn't find where to drop... More
What can I say... Angela and her parents are beautiful people who make you feel like you're part of the family. We're traveling Europe from Australia and this has been one of our best memories. Do yourself a favour and don't read the reviews, as it will spoil the surprise. Trust that you will be satisfied. This place is a... More
We walked the Sentiero del Viandante from Mandello del Lario for about two hours, arriving at the Agriturismo in time for lunch. When we were later paying the bill for our family of six, Angela told us that she does not always open on Wednesdays but, because we rang from Australia to make the booking, she opened especially for us!...
