I stayed with friends at this farmhouse outside the typical farmhouses where you park nearby. In fact, if you're lucky you leave the car 10/15 minutes away, if not much more. It can only be reached via a mule track, walking for about 20 minutes or, upon request, they can come and pick you up by vehicle. We booked for Sunday lunch. Everything was excellent and even for some courses they asked us if we wanted more, offering us an encore... which we didn't refuse. The location is spectacular with a view towards the mountains and at the same time towards the lake. If it's nice you eat outdoors, unlike indoors with very limited spaces. The nice, friendly and nice staff satisfied us in every way. You can bring children and dogs that run in the meadows inside the farmhouse safely. If I may, the only discordant note is that the fixed menu sent to us was modified with the elimination of one course...the cheeses...without communicating this except at the time of the presentation of the desserts, giving the explanation that they didn't have any available. No problem because they provided some food but it would have been nice to inform us. If you are a walker there is the possibility of going on well-maintained paths to follow before or after lunch. Thanks for your hospitality we will be back

Everything is excellent. Truly top service and food. The staff very pleasant and helpful. You eat very well and the portions are perfect also because from the very varied starter you move on to two first courses, two second courses, cheese, dessert, coffee and bitters, drinks included. I advise.

Periodically now for years I gladly relax at the Wild. It is not as dramatic to reach the property as I read.... I have always stayed in total relaxing silence. The dishes proposed for dinner are well cooked and served with extreme kindness. See you soon!

When I returned after a few years, I found everything profoundly changed: there is no longer the rustic farmhouse where, for a super honest price, you could eat tasty food with double courses of first and second courses. Now with a normal farmhouse price you eat with barely enough portions of foods that left me with no memories of the taste. Add the delirium of looking for parking and the road to come from Milan, next time I'll go to any farmhouse behind my house. A real shame, the new management has screwed up.

Precisiamo, però, che la gestione è sempre la stessa dal 1998, anche il prezzo e le portate sono invariate ormai da diversi anni a questa parte.
La invitiamo, se vorrà , a consultare il nostro sito Internet dove si imbatterà nella bellissima storia che circonda il nostro agriturismo, potrà scoprire le origini e l’impegno di tutti noi a portare avanti questa stupenda storia che è Agriturimo La Selvaggia.
Aggiungiamo anche che le portate sono sempre doppie, accompagnate da bis e anche tris per chi lo richiede, perciò facciamo davvero fatica a comprendere la sua recensione.

We decided, to celebrate the birthday of a friend to book in this farm... Bad idea!
The path to reach the place is challenging, especially if there are elderly or children, fortunately we found a beautiful day, I dare not imagine what state we would have arrived in case of bad weather.
After 15 minutes of walking all uphill we finally arrive, the place is quaint and the view is beautiful but unfortunately it is the only positive thing.
The food is too spicy, turmeric is never lacking in dishes and more than in an Italian farmhouse it seemed to be in an Indian restaurant.
The staff is friendly and my request to replace the rabbit with chicken was told yes, there was no problem, but I was served a chicken that was nothing but rabbit!
This was something that bothered me most of all!
I would not recommend it, it is not worth it.

My wife and I should have stopped at this farm only for an overnight stay that would have allowed us to start the next morning the famous "Wanderer's Path". We had no expectations, after all do not seek. And here was the surprise. It turned out to be an extraordinary place, in a lovely location overlooking the lake. The rooms were well maintained and very clean. And all this "seasoned" with the sympathy and availability of all, but what surprised us most was the cuisine of Chiara and Samuel: Spettacolare!
And with regard to prices one can only say that they have been adjusted.

We were a larger group and stayed 4 nights at this wonderful accommodation. The place is extremely beautiful, the studios are spacious, clean and equipped with absolutely everything necessary. We had dinner at their restaurant which is rustic and wonderful and it was a real culinary experience. The staff was extremely kind and friendly and the owners extremely responsive and polite. The access is on a hiking path and we arrived at night after several adventures related to the rented car, although it was late, past 2 am, Emanuele the owner came down with the car after us and we were extremely grateful, given that check-in had to be done by 7 pm, they were more than understanding, they actually stayed awake until we arrived. I recommend those who want a special accommodation to choose this place with confidence, we were left with a special impression and we would love to come back anytime! Many thanks to Vanessa&Emanuele and all the staff for making our vacation a great memory! ❤️

The place where the farm is located is charming and we ate well. I must say, however, that after booking two rooms we were informed that due to a problem not caused by us, the only substantial alternative was to take another room at a cost of €100. Furthermore, we had to reach the location in a hurry only because the owner had misread the message in which we communicated our plans. Let's say that the view of the beautiful Grigne cannot compensate for everything.

Grazie per aver speso comunque del tempo con noi.
Siamo molto dispiaciuti di questo e avremmo preferito un chiarimento subito in modo da non aver malcontenti e trovando magari una soluzione.
Precisiamo però, che in immediato al problema causato dal cliente precedente, abbiamo telefonato per spiegare il tutto comunicando anche la riduzione notevole del prezzo proprio a causa di questo imprevisto e sempre telefonicamente è stata accettata la proposta di una camera matrimoniale in più.
In merito all’orario, invece, mi preme sottolineare che è stato scritto un messaggio indicando 6.30 facilmente fraintendibile con 16.30 se letto tra tante righe. E anche qui ci spiace non aver interpretato le 18.30.
Vi è stato chiesto un orario di arrivo proprio per poter organizzare al meglio il check-in e cioè di avvisarci un po’ prima in modo da poter trovare subito il ragazzo ad accogliervi al parcheggio per caricare i vostri bagagli senza farvi aspettare! Quindi nessuna fretta ma semplicemente la voglia di essere pronti al vostro arrivo. Penso che questo sia molto positivo e non una nota negativa.
Grazie comunque per essere stati con noi e speriamo in una prossima che possa far tornare il sorriso e la voglia di stare con noi!

Very good dinner! Everything looked after and genuine, great courtesy and friendliness!
A gastronomic tour of 7 courses that amaze the taste with simple ingredients but cooked with great care and skill. The walk in the woods to reach the farmhouse and spectacular views of the lake is also exciting. We will definitely be back!

We went with my family last Saturday and had a great time! Friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food and generous portions (I had to ask to take away a little something which I happily ate the next day). Warm and rustic atmosphere... the fireplace lit for an extra touch! Not to mention the lake view and the varied menu! Lots of appetizers, two first courses, two second courses and three types of desserts! Wine and water constantly exchanged... in short... I advise everyone to go, we will definitely be back.
P.s I took few photos because I was too busy eating!

Favorite meal in Lake Como. Food was great, and abundant. Service was warm and friendly. Views were spectacular. Highlights included the (nut cake?) dessert, the Pasta course and the wine. Excellent all around - couldn't have enjoyed more. Thanks to Chiara, our lovely server, for a great experience.

For my 50th birthday I invited some relatives and friends to lunch in this lovely place.
The restaurant, very characteristic, has a beautiful view of the lake.
Thanks to the kind and shrewd staff we had a very pleasant lunch with abundant food and excellent quality.

Last night we had dinner with friends at 'La Selvaggia'. Excellent dinner, seven courses all genuine and tasty at a decidedly advantageous price.

What an amazing place!! We hiked up from Mandello and it was most definitely worth it, even in the heat. The food, views and service were fantastic. Such an amazing experience, one of our holiday highlights, we will definitely be back when in the area again. Thank you.
