We liked every plate that we tasted. Especially the fish (gilthhead seabream) with sage is amazing. Also the pies (strudels) are delicious. This restaurant is managed by a family consisting of women. you feel it in every detail.

We've been there twice and both times the food was great. It is a pretty small restaurant, just five tables on the beach and a few more on the terrace so the service is fast and friendly.

Someone's house turned into a restaurant. Intimate. Great food, a little pricey. Mother and daughter team. Fabulous French onion soup and lamb and mushrooms very tasty.

Our return to this unique little place was certainly worth the wait. All the idiosyncrasies still apply, as does the home cooked food and the interesting conversation with the owner, who is as passionate as ever about her wonderful place. If you come to Gumusluk without eating here then you have missed a great treat.

Such a cauzy atmosphere and great home cooking. Everone should taste the food and deserts! Price is very reasonable.

Gümüşlük is a nice area that you can really feel Bodrum. Here, you can taste a real homecook summer dinner that you can have "meze" with your "rakı". You can pass a real Bodrum's evening with kind crew. They will stop the service at 22:00 so you should go earlier and make a reservation because the restaurant is small. They... More

We simply loved the experience of dining at the Onion & Garlic. Its position right on the beach is special enough but the fab home cooked food is exemplary. Its a completely different experience to anything else in Gumusluk. The carrot, joghurt & garlic starter is to die for as is the baked (cold) rice pudding with ice cream. The... More

They promise home cooking and that is what you get. Different menu to the other restaurants on the beach - limited to a small number of dishes but all were quite delightful. Only complaint would be that the beach slopes a lot under the tables so it was a strain to stay upright unless you were facing the beach with... More

Food is average and everything else is below average. We have eaten at more expensive places in Bodrum but this one felt the worst at it had nothing to deserve the price tags. Menu does not have many options but the worst part is the service: we had to feed ourselves with bread for an hour before the mezes showed... More
