We were staying at the hotel and it was just so restful not to have to go out to eat at night. Luckily the menu and food quality were such that this was a great choice! You can choose a full meal or just get a salad, empanada or other light dish. Good wine selection. Recommended enthusiastically!

We had lunch here by chance while we were passing through Purmamarca. The setting is beautiful, the service is very good and the things we ate: goat cheese, salads, ravioli stuffed with pumpkin and tagliolini with vegetables were all very good. We also enjoyed the desserts. Very good wine list. Price in line with level of service and ambience. Would... More

On a two day tour of Purmamarca area with Spirit of America Travel, El Manantial was our lunch stop on the first day. I went with the corn soup as a starter that had a lovely surprise in the soup. I then had a local Argentinian freshwater fish called pejerry that was presented wrapped in filo with candied potatoes and... More

There are a lot of tourist places to eat here and typically we avoid hotels. But so many people told us to eat here we relented and were glad we did. If you are a carnivore, most folks in Argentina are, and you have a spirit of adventure try the Llama. The meat is tender, tasty and very free of... More

Saturday evening in Purmamarca, and we were recommended this place. It's a posh, country mansion-style hotel & the restaurant is open to non-residents. It was very quiet, though maybe the end of May isn't exactly high season. But the food was very good and the service also first class.

Surprise: Lonely Planet has not yet acknowledged the existence of this "Spring of Silence", and this is probably good so for us visitors, as it remains somewhat off the radar screens of most tourists. We were advised by an Argentine couple we met a week earlier that this is a "must" place to visit and stay at - well, we... More

Amazing food, great setting and the service is amazing. Although slightly pricier than the rest of restaurants in town, it is definitely worth it. The quality of the food is excellent, as well as the dishes they serve. We dined here with my family several nights, and everything we tried was simply great. A must try if you're staying in... Set in beautiful countryside and colonial building with great service. Was quiet when we went, probably due to the time of year. The building is beautiful, and the service was outstanding. Food was different but all the better for it. Llama carpaccio and pork crackling risotto was perfect!

Loved this place! The location is superb and the place itself magnificent. The restaurant is in old colonial style, beautifully maintained with great views on their garden (where we even saw wild foxes running around in the evening). The food is simply amazing and the best of the places where we ate in Purmamarca. Starters are large and very yummy.... More
