We had a great time outside El Galeo. The waitresses kept coming to our table with delicious warm tapas (1,50-4,00 eur per plate), the riocha della casa (2,50 per glass) was really good and the staff was warm and helpful. Awesome night!

If you want to taste tapas in Palamos it is the best place. But it is a bar, not a restaurant! You will have the best experience in tapas, you should go if you visit Palamos, or the other retaurants next door, they are restaurants from the same company. Prawn are excellent! Taste the wines! It is little, probably you... More

We have tried many tapas bars during our stay at Costa Brava, and we liked El Galeo the most. It delivered what I always imagined a real tapas experience should be: simple but tasty snacks that are enjoyed with a drink in a good atmosphere. The place can get very crowded and often there is a line, but I guess... More

We went as a family of 5. Been around area for 3 weeks and only found this. What can I say absolutely excellent. Best tapas we have had by far, cold tapas on bar, staff then come round with selection of hot tapas, everything including gambas, squid, calamari, chicken croquettes, chorizo, pork kebabs, chicken kebabs, Mini burgers, Amazing desserts including... I came here with some European friends who wanted to try Spanish tapas. It was the best. There were a lot of traditional and more fancy version of tapas. The location was perfect. I recommended 100%

I visit El Galeo as much as I can, being English living in Palamós has opened my eyes to a wide range of new foods and there's no better place to experience all of this than in El Galeo. The tapas is outstanding although I don't know what half of it is as my Spanish is rusty it's worth trying... More
