I visited this restaurant 3 times. This time it was special occasion and everything was great. During lunch time it is pretty busy place but service is quick and nice. Food is absolutely great. You must visit and try, once you visit beautiful city Opava.

Cuisine at a very high level - pasta con pesto basilico was excellent, as well as zander with zucchini and cheeseburger. Fresh, inventive cooking coupled with very helpful staff - highly recommend!

It was unexpected visit however I was totaly amazed! The food was excellent, simple but very tasty. Service very professional (young man Jiri - very well done!) Prices are little bit higher however in the same line with quality. I do recommend this place:)

This restaurant is still very good. Very nice atmosphere, perfect service and very good dishes for the fair price. Warmly recommended for any kind of occasions.

Visited here for lunch one day. Food, service and efficiency was excellent at a very good price. The lunchtime menu has about three choices, I think there is always something interesting to choose. Svičkova is just ok, burger is very good but you can't eat it without using cutlery because it's too big. Pilsner is classic and dessert we had (fried icecream) was suspiciosly hard. Generally, cosy place to eat dinner but nothing more.

We went to this place last weekend, in July. Interior is really cozy and comfortable. Maybe there is not so much space, but it is enought for 4people coming in from the street. If you want more places then call there to book a table....Food was really good! Especially pasta. Unofortunately waiters doesn`t speak english at all... But they have english menu. So we were able to show a waiter which plate we choose.More

We were the three of us, pretty hungry after a day of work. Following the reviews in TripAdvisor we've decided to give it a chance and we weren't disappointed. We've all ordered the 200 g Sirloin steak in several levels of roasting with local beer...and salad on the side. The service was good but a little slow, the quality of the food was good not amazing but very tasty. The salad felt a bit small even though it say 300 g in the menu. Great value for your money. BTW, 200 g steak is not enough to a hungry grown up ;-) .More

I was at this restaurant with my boyfriend, suprised with its offer of main dishes and steaks. Little more expensive that I would expect. I had sirloin steak with green pepper sauce. The steak was in my opinion too raw for my well done option,...but delicious sauce saved it.More

As I wrote in the headline- not bad food for not bad prices, that is exactly what you are going to get;) U tiskárny serves (for town as Opava is) quite delicious meals for reasonable prices. Staff is ok-ish, trying to speak some English and...trying to make their best to raise up their restaurant to international level.More

I have been visiting this little restaurant about two times. I have been satisfied and recommend it to anyone who's interested in gastronomy in reasonable price range.
