I returned to spot after few years, place has now different name and owner. Terrible lunch, never again. Soup super oily but I found 2 small noodles there as plus. Dry pork steak with something like mash potatos. Waitresses looked like they super hate their...job, all replies were no.More

I ate chicken meat soup with noodles and Gulash. Everything was great and the portions were big enough. Waitress was nice and quick. I would come back again.

We were 2 persons and had one portion of chicken wings and one salad with goat cheese. Both dishes were delicious (especially the wings) and the portions were so big that we were both full! The wings were 6 in one portion. I would recommend...this place for dinner in Opava.More

I have visited this place multiple times during my stay in Opava. I have to say, the big advantage is this is a non-smoking facility, which is still nothing common in Czech Republic (as smoking is still allowed inside bars & restaurants). The service was...great, pretty warm inside, helpful and attentive staff. Definitely recommending!More

If you enjoy beer cellars with a medieval feel this is for you. Fine Pilsner beer and on the evening I went the food was simple but excellent, I had a platter of fried chicken and bread perfect.

4 guys at the end of a long working day, looking for good food. TripAdvisor ranking looked promising so we've decide to give it a chance. We've ordered the T-bone, 500 g Beef ribs cooked in a spicy marinade, 200 g Pfeffer classic sirloin steak,...homemade fried potatoes and local beer. Overall the dishes were tasty, the beef ribs were a little dry and the homemade fried potatoes were a bit disappointing. The restaurant looks great with a good atmosphere and a good location, plenty of parking space near by. There is a possibility to eat outside in the open air. All in all great value for the money.More

Very stylish restaurant-pub located close to the city center. Absolutely gorgeous design. One of the best places in Opava to taste Pilsner beer.

This is great place to taste classic Czech food and beer. Plzen from tank, nice one. All kinds of food with knedliky, taastyyy - try meat/knedliky/sweet jam or plum sauce. Prices - really nice. I can't recommend anything, you better try it all :-)

Let us face it; Czech cuisine is not one that everyone likes; knedliki and meat is something that some may not appreciate. Selection of vegetables is also relatively limited and they are mostly cooked (sometimes cooked to death -- like in UK). But, beer is...good, knedlik is good, meat is good and they try to add a bit of fresh salad at least to some dishes. So, if you are in Opava and would like a nice meal of local cuisine, then this place is definitely worthy trying.More
