Have been here many times and never disappointed - always lovely food. It's in a very convenient location just being off the roundabout at St Asaph just off the A55.

Another nearby restaurant let us down so we called here by chance on a busy saturday evening. The gentleman front of house made us very welcome and although they were extremely busy he went out of his way to fit us in. The rest of the staff were equally pleasant and welcoming. The setting is beautiful and kept spotlessly clean.... More

I have visited the Bod Erw on a few occasions and have always found both the food and service excellent. I recently visited on Sunday 26 June with a party of 6 + a toddler and we had booked in advance, which is a must as it gets very busy. We were served promptly and the starters, mains and desserts... Visited the restaurant with ten family members and have been numerous times before. We had pre ordered so the starters and mains were brought to the table promptly, no complaints. However, the 'hot' chocolate fudge cake was barely even warm, as goes for the sticky toffee pudding too. We ordered coffee and it was forgotten about. Can I also make... More

Went here for lunch not knowing what to expect. Plenty of choice on the menu, opted for smoked haddock wrapped in bacon with cheese sauce, mind you the chicken & leek pie looked good as well. Good service in pleasant surroundings, and didn't break the bank. Only complaint was that they had run out of lemon tart, so was forced... More

I had the veggie flan and was very tasty.the chips were chunky and not greasy. Lovely that we werent rushed to leave. Meal very... More

Visited as a large groups 18 or so and we ate from the pre order menu, food was ok but nothing special, the soup had good flavours but the lamb was over cooked leaving a dry powdery taste, desert was mildly warm upon service and cold by time I finished eating it, the staff didn't seam interested in anyone, even...
