We stopped off here just to grab something to eat on our way home from a day trip. My mum loved her roast beef which came with plenty of roast potatoes, veg and flavoursome gravy. My boyfriend really enjoyed his sauteed chicken with bacon and creamy spiralled mashed potatoes. I ordered a side of (proper) chips with my smoked salmon... More

Went last week for an evening meal and today for Sunday lunch, you couldn't ask for nicer. Meals perfect, staff lovely and the ambience very friendly and relaxed. Diane and Chef from Village bistro pen. Have not long taken this establishment over and are doing an excellent job. We shall certainly be regulars and recommending to others.

Went here for a change, didn't have a starter, a good job we both had roast beef, with all the trimmings. Really nice enjoyed it, excellent service, plenty of choice other than Sunday dinner.

We stopped off at 3pm for lunch. It doesn't look much from outside at all, but we were pleasantly surprised once we got inside. The menu is on a blackboard, and had a nice range of different things. We ordered the beef roast dinner, and sauteed chicken with bacon and mushrooms in a creamy tarragon sauce. Both meals were beautiful,... More

We really enjoyed our lunch at this unusual restaurant. There are a number of levels to the pub and each one has a handful of tables so you get a feeling of intimacy even though the overall place is large. They have a daily board menu of unusual dishes all cooked perfectly and presented beautifully.

Didn't know what to expect when we arrived at the Bridge on Friday evening but we were pleasantly surprised. The setting is lovely right by the river in St Asaph with plenty of parking in the adjacent car park which is free after 5pm. On entering the restaurant we were very warmly welcomed by the new owners whom we knew... More

I went out to the Bridge on Sunday. The food was wonderful, well priced and so filling. The portions are huge so for £8-95 you are getting more than you could possibly imagine. The deserts are home made and so delicious. They finish the meal perfectly. The paying at the bar is completely normal nowadays so no complaints here! The... More

Food was excellent, couldn't fault it, excellent value. We went on Thursday evening and we are going back again with our friends this evening. The restaurant has a nice feel and the atmosphere is relaxed, couldn't understand why there were only two other people eating ? you won't be disappointed. Thank you from the Norfolk folk
