This is a very special restaurant with very delicate and tasty Italian food and wine. A special place for a special evening.

Positives: - Degustation menu with 4 courses at 55 euros is very appealing, also taking into account that you can really choose any four dishes from the menu (potentially four mains or four desserts) - Stunning desserts: oil and bread melting with chocolate reinforced with eucalyptus, and meringue with mandarin mousse - Eel-filled pasta on spinach sauce and with oyster... Disclaimer: I haven't visited many Michelin-rated restaurants in my life (this is the fourth I've been in) hence my judgement might be biased by a lack of confidence with top-tier experimentation. That said, all in all my experience at Ristorante Marconi was positive but not memorable. I'll spare the reader the usual sermon about how smart and innovative this young... More

We made, on the advice of guide l'espresso, a stop here on our transit to the south of Italy. We had a truly great dining experience. Authentic dishes from Emilia with a modern twist. We had the 4-portion menu, which let's you choose 4 dishes from the menu. The "uovo risveglio" was very special (an true egg/bacon experience!) and the... More

The first thing to say is: "it is definitly worth having a dinner here". Even if it's very expensive. Even if the decor is not top level. Even if the toilet looks like an Autogrill one. Aurora Mazzucchelli is one of the best young generation chef in Italy and her dishes revisit the Italian traditions with creativity and gentleness. His... More

This restaurant serves portions which are VERY small - this would be satisfactory if each portion had a strong/significant taste but they do not. Unfortunately the complete degustation menu of approx. EUR55 per head still did not make an adequate meal. Service is pleasant.

My wife and I chose this restaurant to celebrate her birthday based on a review I had read in one of the newspapers in Bologna. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and of very good value..the service was professional and discrete. I would certainly recommend the Marconi to anyone looking for a Michelin starred restaurant not far from...
